Would you agree that our United States of America is in such a spiritual crisis, we need too unite …?

    You go pray and fast… I’d rather do something that will actually make a change.

  2. I wholeheartedly agree.
    Unfortunately, some anti-Faith movements are doing what they can to make sure that there is constant division between faiths.
    As long as so much of Evangelical Christianity embraces a doctrine to destroy and demean other faiths (Witnesses, Mormons, etc) they are working to prevent interfaith cooperation.
    It’s a group think they share with Radical Islam and anti-Theists.
    To some,
    sacrificing the United States
    is a just price to pay
    for advancing the Glory of God.
    As long as anti-Faith theology is widely condoned, don’t expect large improvement.

  3. has nothing to do with religion, we need a new government. Spiritual Crisis… I would call it an economical crisis, but if you are worried about some god nonsense than good luck to you.

  5. my butt could stand a good fast, but that’s the only thing I see being accomplished here. We will never unite spiritually or religiously, we can however love and be tolerant of other’s beliefs.

  6. Only Christians would believe this. I do not. I do believe that if the government forced prayer and fasting, that would be a crisis.

  7. I would prefer our country to go ahead and fall. I feel we are beyond redemption unless God chooses to be merciful. Christians in America are soft, heretical and weak. A little persecution would go well to reminding us that we are not of this world.

  8. Nope. Everyone already worships (or not) in their own way. No one has to do anything they don’t want to. You can’t force spirituality on someone. You definitely can’t force someone to pray.

  9. Yes we do need to unite. But not in prayer or not eating. We have to unite as we once did during the beginnings of this country. It has nothing to do with religion, race, or sex. But of the mind, of our way of life. Forget that your neighbor is a Wiccan or your co-worker is gay. Take pride that they will be beside you, as people, as Americans, to help rid this country of everything wrong with it. We shouldn’t divide ourselves anymore than we already are. We need unity, as Americans, as humans, nothing more, nothing less.

  10. Oh yes, let’s unite but how about if we pass on the prayer and fasting. God knows what we need so let’s not waste a lot of our time or Hers. And as for the fasting, that kinda means we don’t eat or something like that. Well, let’s forget that too. Food is one of the things that makes this life Heavenly. How about if we just buy some extra food and invite a few hundred thousand people from those famine countries to come over for dinner? Would that be OK?

  11. Yes we are but not just the U S its the whole world . A note to moses its not all Christians doing the killing of the dead your upset about , Not all troops are Christians . By the way god is allowing it for a reason so why dont you question Him

    We need to unite around God’s Word. That way all the subjectiveness is gone.
    How are you gonna know what to fast and pray about if you don’t know His Word?

  13. IF MY people who are called by my name, will will pray and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and heal their land. that is Jesus words to you and me. And if we do just that, pray and turn from our wicked ways then God will hear these prayers and turn America back to God!!

  16. 2Ch 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
    I would agree that we are not the great spiritual nation we once were. I would love nothing more than for congress to announce a day of prayer and fasting like they did at the begining of this great country.

    then we might as well post the last 2 paragraphs.
    Nor have We been wanting in attentions to our British brethren. We have warned them from time to time of attempts by their legislature to extend an unwarrantable jurisdiction over us.     There are 2 important point to ponder here, in the first part.
    that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights,
    and in the second part.
    – And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence,
    We seem to have forgotten who the Creator, and Divine Providence spoken about in the Declaration are.
    Those of us who do remember have been praying for these United States for some time now.
