Will doing morning yoga help get rid of current muscle bulk and provide me with a shapely lean body?

Im wondering if i should get up and begin yoga as a daily morning routine because i want to have a lean and shapely body without muscle bulk. Will this routine help to lessen my current bulk in my back and thighs? Or will it make it worse?
