It is quite funny how many of the most intelligent people and scientists in the world end up becoming Christian if they weren’t already Christian to begin with. Some have even started out as Christians, converted to atheism, and then converted back to Christianity. So why do atheists keep trying to use mumbo jumbo science and stuff to disprove God, when the people who actually know what they are talking about, such as Einstein, all believe in God, and yet atheists choose not to?
Why is this?

Don’t feed the troll
he didn’t
he never converted to christianity.

L1 w/ 51pts: I smell troll!
you obviously have no idea what ur talking about. 😛
Einstein wasn’t a Christian, he was an Agnostic. I have no idea where you got that idea from.
I thought he was Jewish.
Because science doesn’t explain everything. They probably start out thinking they know everything but then they realize they don’t in the end
?
Your pulpit parasite has been lying to you never believe anything they say
Einstein wasn’t Christian. He believed in Spinoza’s god.
“Einstein, in a telegram response, answered he believes in “Spinoza’s God.”[27] Spinoza equated God (infinite substance) with Nature, consistent with Einstein’s belief in an impersonal deity.”
He also remarked:
“The word God is for me nothing more than the expression and product of human weakness, the Bible a collection of honorable, but still purely primitive, legends which are nevertheless pretty childish.”
He didn’t. You have an over active imagination.
Really…do you ever post a question with any validation at all?? You make yourself sound really really st**** by posting questions like this….
You really are one sad annoying b*stard. I bet all your friends, like your god are imaginary.
You keep perpetuating this lie, Speedy, even though you’ve been corrected here more than once. Einstein was a cultural Jew and atheist. Fundies have claimed Einstein as one of their own for 50 years, yet Al’s own words prove them wrong.
He was a very smart man. The smartest thing he did however, was giving his life to God.
Merry Christmas!
*Stabs Speedy22*
Einstein was a j.e.w from his birth up to his death.
😀
u is wrong
First off, Albert Einstein was agnostic. He never converted to Christianity.
However, to answer your question, I choose not to follow “them” because I am not a sheep. I am capable of making my own decisions. Extraordinary intelligence and extraordinary common sense never come in the same package, anyway.
I am SOOOO going to report you!!!
just kidding. Einstein said everything is a miracle or nothing is. He was smart enough to offer up the question, but not the answer.
..a spiritual pursuit is worthwhile.
He didn’t. He was vaguely pantheist all his life.
Theist though I am, I despair of Christians who (like their atheist counterparts) take the first piece of crap they find off the nearest propaganda peddling website
That’s pretty funny.
Thanks for the laugh
From what I’ve recently read Einstein was more likely and Pantheist rather than Atheist but then again I didn’t personally know the man.
did he?
Human Nature. We all search for a path, and when we are on one, try to convince others WE are right, Just the way the world goes. I think that atheists convert to Christianity after seeing the splendor of the world. The world is beautiful, and runs in perfect harmony, this could not just come about – there has to be a mastermind, a Creator; a God
I have never heard of Einstein converting to Christianity before. I am 100% sure you made that up.
Entstein was jewish
You’re a liar — or you’ve been lied to and you liked the lie so much you haven’t bothered to investigate it.
Einstein never converted to Christianity. Neither did Darwin. The “God” Einstein said he believed in has nothing whatsoever to do with Jehovah.
…Einstein was a Jew who in his later years believed more in an Eternal Creator and God of the Universe… He acknowledged that he believed it was God (YHVH) that held the Universe together in such prefection. He never made any acknowledgments about being a Christian…
He didn’t convert to Christianity, so your entire point is sketchy.
Actually he didn’t as stated thus
“I received your letter of June 10th. I have never talked to a Jesuit priest in my life and I am astonished by the audacity to tell such lies about me. From the viewpoint of a Jesuit priest I am, of course, and have always been an atheist.”
o Letter to Guy H. Raner Jr. (2 July 1945), responding to a rumor that a Jesuit priest had caused Einstein to convert to Christianity, quoted in an article by Michael R. Gilmore in Skeptic magazine, Vol. 5, No. 2, (1997)
There was a similar allegation about Charles Darwin which was a lie, most Scientists are more agnostic than atheist.
I wouldn’t call Einstein a christian. Read and check out the link. Perhaps you should research first.
I do not believe in a personal God and I have never denied this but have expressed it clearly. If something is in me which can be called religious then it is the unbounded admiration for the structure of the world so far as our science can reveal it. (Albert Einstein, 1954)
I believe in Spinoza’s God who reveals himself in the orderly harmony of what exists, not in a God who concerns himself with the fates and actions of human beings. (Albert Einstein)
The religion of the future will be a cosmic religion. It should transcend personal God and avoid dogma and theology. Covering both the natural and the spiritual, it should be based on a religious sense arising from the experience of all things natural and spiritual as a meaningful unity. Buddhism answers this description. If there is any religion that could cope with modern scientific needs it would be Buddhism. (Albert Einstein)
I cannot conceive of a God who rewards and punishes his creatures, or has a will of the kind that we experience in ourselves. Neither can I nor would I want to conceive of an individual that survives his physical death; let feeble souls, from fear or absurd egoism, cherish such thoughts. I am satisfied with the mystery of the eternity of life and with the awareness and a glimpse of the marvelous structure of the existing world, together with the devoted striving to comprehend a portion, be it ever so tiny, of the Reason that manifests itself in nature. (Albert Einstein, The World as I See It
LOL – Einstein never converted to Christianity.
Wishful thinking on your part.
He never did.
He was born and raised Jewish.
He remained a believer in Gd.
He was NEVER Christian.
OMG! Stop this already! Jesus has already killed 20 puppies and he’ll keep on doing it until you stop lying! Christians are not supposed to lie! Christians are perfect and they never lie! How can you call yourself a Christian and not care about the poor puppies being sacrificed for your lies?
I thought Einstein was a deist.
“I believe in Spinoza’s God, who reveals Himself in the lawful harmony of the world, not in a God Who concerns Himself with the fate and the doings of mankind”
“I do not believe in a personal God and I have never denied this but have expressed it clearly.”
Both quotes of his.
That’s complete unadulterated bullsh*t. Einstein was a cultural Jew and a pantheist. He wasn’t an atheist and he was *never* Christian.
You’re either lying or too lazy to check your facts.
Einstein was never a Christian. His family was Jewish and he himself was a vague pantheist who did not believe in either a personal god or an afterlife.
His religious opinions are well-documented. Where do Christians get this crap?
Albert Einstein said the more he studied science the more he was convinced there was a God. He said tons of noteworthy things where he denounced many ideas we believe are backed up by science.
It would be no suprise to anyone (even atheists) if I were to say that a couple decades from now Science books would completely contradict today’s Science books. This is because understanding the world is never done and all “scientific facts” are incomplete.
The thing is that accepting God does not come from logic. If someone does not want to change their life and accept Christ you can’t reason with them to get them to do so. It is an emotional and spiritual journey.
Einstein was NEVER a Christian, nor an atheist.
So the whole time I attended the Church of Elvis it WASN’T Einstein sitting in the second row back on the right ??
Damn…that guy really had me fooled.
Do you know who said this?
“The word god is for me nothing more than the expression and product of human weaknesses, the Bible a collection of honourable, but still primitive legends which are nevertheless pretty childish. No interpretation no matter how subtle can (for me) change this.”
Yep. Einstein.
“It seems to me that the idea of a personal God is an anthropological concept which I cannot take seriously. I also cannot imagine some will or goal outside the human sphere…. Science has been charged with undermining morality, but the charge is unjust. A man’s ethical behavior should be based effectually on sympathy, education, and social ties and needs; no religious basis is necessary. Man would indeed be in a poor way if he had to be restrained by fear of punishment and hope of reward after death.”
einstein was far from christian, but he wasnt atheist either…..
I seriously doubt he did that. If he did do that it must have been when he go Alzheimer’s disease. When you talk to God you are praying. When God talks back to you, you are crazy.
Einstein’s wife and son became Catholics !!! — Quick, the smelling salts.
not true, He was Jewish
to quote Einstein himself on your question:
du bist ein dummer Dummkopf
Good lord son…
Don’t they teach you to do REAL research in High School anymore ??
Don’t worry though we have a rewarding career in the military for young men like you. And some of our manuals / reading materials even have nice big pictures for your size of intellect.
Don’t hurt yourself reading son…Uncle SAM needs you !!
( to clean the latrines )
SNARKY OUT !!
He didn’t. Check your facts. First he was Jewish, but then he turned to an athiest. Name me ten brilliant people who were Christians. Newton, Picasso, Galileo, and Einstein were all athiests. That’s all I can think of off the top of my head, but I’m sure most great thinkers were athiests.
First of all:
Einstein was not a christian, nor was he an atheist. He believed in a God, though not in a personal one. Thus he was either a deist or a pantheist.
@Julianna
You should check your facts too girl. Both Newton and Galileo were certainly christians. Further I want to state I’m a deist myself.
Einstein did not believe in God. He wanted to believe in God. Just like everybody who has ever learned of Him should. Einstein left God because he accomplished so much with logic, and logic point directly to God being impossible. No matter how smart one becomes, the want for God to exist is too great. He made great accomplishments with logic and I imagine his days alone crying. He lied to himself.
