Who were you, most likely, in a previous reincarnation?

Even non-believers of reincarnation qualify as being capable to find
something of core-self in any one ancestor or racial stock. Celts,
for example, were likely bloody-minded with edged weapons when
their sun-darkened skin was painted blue irregardless of present day
Church of England heritage.

  1. If there were such a thing as reincarnation (which I doubt), then I’m pretty sure I was a Doctor. Without any training at all, I have a keen grasp and insight for medical things.
    Anyone for brain surgery?

  2. The ‘most likely’ qualification renders the question completely subjective, and as such captive to the wanderings of the individual imagination.

  3. I used to have recurring dreams of being a German Nazi soldier during World War II. I have even spoken in a language that sounded Germanic (according to my wife). If I believed in reincarnation, then I could definitely point this out as “proof” of the concept.
However, I’m an atheist, so there goes any belief in anything supernatural, including reincarnation. There simply is NO empirical evidence for such absurdities.

  4. I took a quiz once to find out what/who I was in a previous incarnation. It said I was one of those monkeys who danced to music in the streets. Sounds about right.

  5. If your looking for clues to who you were in a past life look at your body. Odd markings or “birthmarks” on your body can indicate who you were and even how you died in your past life. Ask your parents about people you talked about as a child. Children can carry over memories from past lives. Check out Sylvia Brown she writes a lot about this kind of stuff.

  6. I thought it was the picts who painted themselves blue. I’m not sure if they are considered celtic, but I could be wrong. Anyways I don’t know who I was, but I get the feeling that I suffered a horrible death of some sort.

  7. I don’t believe in reincarnation, but I have thought about the myth. I read somewhere that the moles you have on your body are, in fact, the result of fatal wounds you received in a prior life. If so, then whoever I would have been in a prior life was either killed by receiving a fatal wound on the right side of his/her body, right below the rib cage. Or a snake bite on the left calf

  8. I’ve lived several lifetimes that I know of, and I’ve always been me. Different times, different bodies, but always myself.
“So as through a glass and darkly, the age long strife I see, Where I fought in many guises, many names, but always me.” – General George S. Patton
