Just as a side note: The Dalai Lama is considered to be a “Buddha” (enlightened being) that has vowed to reincarnate until each and every sentient being has experienced enlightenment.

He’s the spiritual leader of the Tibetan people. It’s said that he’s a reincarnation of the Buddha. He’s a great guy. Very peaceful. He laughs a lot. He’s not the kind of spiritual leader that condemns people. His people were persecuted by the Chinese government and forced to flee. They now live in India and are basically waiting until it’s safe to return back home.

There is tons of info. on him on the web and he has books too.

Since this sounds like a school project I will be as detailed as possible:

He was an English man who sailed to find America in the year 1132. He succeeded. However, there were many settlers already in America. He made friends with them and very kindly moved in with them. They lived together in a peaceful world. This is now America.
