  1. I’m going to guess D because of a koam I heard about a samurai once.
Edit: I’m changing my answer to no answer.

  2. B. Meditation.
Buddhism does not believe in the others. It is simply a quest towards enlightment without eternal life if you succeed or eternal damnation if you do not agree with it.

  3. B meditation as Zen is the Japanese form of Meditation.
Chan Buddhism (the Chinese name for Zen) is the Chinese for meditation.

  4. B meditation.
Zen Buddhism diverges from other Buddhist sects due to it’s emphasis on Meditation (clarity of thought). Only by becoming truly awake can you know the difference between reality and illusion.

  5. A. Deeds done to gain merit gain absolutely no merit whatsoever.
    B. Just one of the keys
    C. In Zen the concept of God is unnecessary.
    D. Forgiveness is unnecessary because it is always your decision to take offense or not.

  6. B. Meditation and also, just as important, to the idea that the world, seen through eyes unclouded by desire, is beautiful. Desires are the primary cause of sufffering. There is also the anti-realist claim that there is no objectively correct and definitive perspective on anything, This is found in the Zen literature, predominantly by the use of puzzles (Koans) for which there could be no literally correct solution and by amusing exchanges intended to undercut any tendency to believe in, or take seriouly, the literal truth of anything. Argueably, some might add, E. None of the above.

  7. In order to understand Japanese Zen Buddhism, one needs to find out how it originated.

  8. B. Meditation
Falon Gong, like someone else mentioned, isn’t even Japanese. It’s Chinese. Close but no cigar on the Falon Gong stuff

Speaking of Buddhism…It is predicted in the Buddhist Scriptures that the new Buddha will appear from the West in the year 3000 of the Buddhist calendar. This website is made to tell all Buddhists that the Buddha from the West is among us and Maitreya Rael, who is the founder and the spiritual leader of the International Raelian Movement is the one.
