  1. One: You’re not a “mage”. There is no such title in any kind of witchcraft-based religion.
Two: I suggest searching Limewire or BitTorrent for names like Ann Moura, Dianne Sylvan, and even Silver Ravenwolf. As much as people dog her, she’s a good teacher.

  2. By using the term mage I’m assuming you’re looking more for ceremonial magic as opposed to Wicca.
http://www.sacred-texts.com has a lot of free books, try looking under Esoteric/Occult, Book of Shadows, and Wicca/Neo-Paganism. You might find something you’re looking for there.

  3. We call ourselves Magicians, for reference; so feel free to give yourself the title if you begin practicing ceremonial Magick. =)
I’m not very familiar with many books regarding Wicca or modern witchcraft, however I do know a couple of amazing books that are well worth seeking out in your bookstores, mostly because it’s convenient to have hard-copies around your house when you begin trying rituals (It would destroy your concentration if you had to pause mid-ritual to scroll down a computer screen for the next steps)
Post-Modern Magic by a man named Patrick Dunn is one of my staples. It’s a very easy to follow introduction to Magick, that gives you very easy exercises that are able to be carried out in day-to-day life.
11 Lessons in High Magick by Kraig is another great one to have on the shelf. It will provide you with the important rituals all Magicians should know and practice, whilst also giving you in depth information as to exactly what and why you are doing the ritual in the first place. It provides you with ‘personal assessment’ quizzes at the end of each chapter to help ensure you’ve learned all you can as you go.
Another author worth reading, although his material is pretty dense (meaning you’ll really have to squint your eyes and focus. Definitely not a ‘sleepy and want to pass the time’ kind of guy) is named Joseph Campbell. His ‘Masks of God’ series is absolutely breathtaking and is very, very insightful as to belief structures and interesting points of conversation/interpretation.
But I’ll say again, it’s REALLY worth it to find your books in a store, because it’s far more convenient for you when you begin practicing.
    Good luck!
