“Astral plain” is a misspelling. To my knowledge, such a thing does not exist.

I’d say “plane” – this means “level of existence, consciousness”, while “plain” only means flatlands.
But then again, the astral beigns are not bound but earthly dictionaries, and you should listen to what they say.

Plane is correct. Is this usage, plane refers to “A level of development, existence, or achievement.” The astral plane is a level of consciousness or existence beyond the physical plane. It loosely correlates to the word dimension, as in our three-dimensional world. The astral plane is sort of like another dimension.
