What’s invisible : Consciousness, Intelligence, God, Stars, Time ?

What is invisible!!..Consciousness ?..Intelligence ?..God ? Gorilla ? The stars in day? The future or the past?
Our Thoughts ? The human genome ? Time as we know ? Atoms ? So much of what really matters in the world is impossible to see. A stunning animation of John Lloyd’s classic TEDTalk from 2009, which will make you question what you actually know. Lesson by John Lloyd, animation by Cognitive Media.

Science tells us that the matter (reality) that we live in is a small portion of all the matter in this universe. That would leave much room for alternate realities such as Heaven or After Life. Birth and Death are two possible entries and exits from this reality. It is possible that our physical bodies cannot live in any other part of this universe, but our consciousness quite possibly live on different levels (planes). Some people “remember” past excursions into this reality. They have very little proof, but that doesn’t rule out the what they “know.”

I study engineering so..
Don’t worry “4” me, I can spell “You” but the N° of characters allowed in a comment is limited.
Now Do u really believe that ur ancestor is a MONKEY?!
How do u endure the concept of death? What’s Next? Just a black screen, NOTHINGNESS! How Stressful & DEPRESSING this is.
I guess it is easier to live meaninglessly & flee any responsibility.
I claim no credits in my beliefs, but I’m concerned about other people. It’s either Paradise or Hell for eternity, no third option.

Yes, way back our ancestors at one point resembled apes. Is this hard for you to accept?
About death: Death is simply when your brain stops to function. You won’t understand when it happens, because you would need your brain to do that. It’s not a black screen.
You can WANT god and paradise to be true all you want, but it still won’t make it true. This life here and now is what you got, don’t waste it on something as stupid as religion.

I (and you) am in the subgroup of apes called hominids. Apes are in the subgroup of primates called old world monkeys. My ancestor’s were monkeys and so am I.

What’s to “endure” about death? All things end. I will end. There will not be “nothingness” because life will go on-but I won’t exist as an observer.

How do you find meaning in your perceived life as the plaything of a celestial bully?
How do you find comfort in the thought of life everlasting knowing others are being tormented ?

Did anyone notice that the boy’s hair covers his left eye the first time you see him (to our right). Time: 0:18 Then the next time, which is only a few seconds, his hair covers his right eye (to our left), for the rest of the video. Time: 0:29

This is clearly the kid that Romney’s gang held down while Mitt sheared his ‘gay’ hair.

so called “how questions” are conditioned on the more primary fact of human concern, viz an inherent “why” asking. try as we may to answer why questions by means of mechanistic how explanations, the two are as impossible to reconcile as the is and the ought.

How many Dictators, killers,Rapists…died without any Fair judgement?
How many downtrodden people never got justice?
Someone rich who lives just for himself, is he the same as someone who helps others even if he is not that rich? NO.

Some people blame God for all the injustice in the world!
Well this life is just a TEST.We are free to do whatever we want. But everyone will stand ALONE before GOD, With no translator, & then no matter how rich or powerful he was, He will answer for his deeds.

U Find Religion stupid.Apart from what U’ve been told by Media. How much did U personally read about ISLAM?Here’s what some Honest NON MUSLIMS said:
“The sayings of Mohammed are a treasure of wisdom not only for Muslims but for all of mankind”Gandhi.
“The teachings of Islam can fail under no circumstances. With all our systems of culture and civilization, we cannot go beyond Islam and, as a matter of fact, no human mind can go beyond the Koran.”Johann Goethe.(cited in Sir Henry Elliot’s Letters).

Dirk Walter,Germany: “I have read the Sacred Scriptures of every religion; nowhere have I found what I encountered in Islam: perfection. The Holy Qur’an, compared to any other scripture I have read, is like the Sun compared to that of a match. I firmly believe that anybody who reads the Word of Allah with a mind that is not completely closed to Truth, will become a Muslim.”

I’m happy that u tried but maybe the translation was complicated.Maybe you should try the “Sahih International”.Good luck.

You abviously swear by science :
Joe Leigh Simpson, Awarded Professor of Obstetrics & Gynecology,USA said :
“… these Hadîths (sayings of Muhammad) could not have been obtained on the basis of the scientific knowledge that was available at the time of the ‘writer’… It follows that not only is there no conflict between genetics and religion (Islâm) … There exist statements in the Qur’ân shown centuries later to be valid which support knowledge in the Qur’ân having been derived from God.”

Dr.E.Marshall Johnson, USA:
“As a scientist,I can only deal with things which I can specifically see.I can understand embryology and developmental biology..if I were to transpose myself into that era, knowing what I knew today, I could not describe the things which were described..this individual, Muhammad, had to be developing this information from some place. So I see nothing here in conflict with the concept that divine intervention was involved in what he was able to write.”

He says that the “Why” is one of the two that matter if we ask them. I believe he is saying that we will never really get the answer of “How?”; so we would be much better off asking the previous. The answer will be subjective, leading us to build the universe around us based on our answers, because as the video touches on, it’s all a matter of perspective.

Such a good youtube comment. I couldn’t help, but read that question with an educated English accent.
