What's a good method for astral projection?

I have had a few out of body experiences in my past, but only one of them was self-initiated. I know that if you meditate and let your body fall asleep with your mind still awake, you can do it, but I haven’t had much success recently in my attempts. As soon as I feel my body “vibrate” I lose focus. Do any of you project? If so, what suggestions can you offer me?

Been there done that and know the technique which has to do with breathing but I must warn you that doing this is very dangerous (speaking from experience) in that there are very baneful animus spirits out there waiting for you to exit the temple in order to take up residence there so be circumspect pursuing astral projection. The silver cord is also in a delicate state when one forces astral projection.
    Remember what you allow yourself to think, see, hear, say and do literally set into motion God’s
    creative powers that form the matrix of life’s reality you find yourself now walking so be circumspect.

  2. You have described your problem well and it is common, What are you doing to relax? Your problem is that as soon as your body starts to vibrate you focus on it. Your mind becomes aware of body sensation and separation is thwarted.
    Okay, so you need to keep your mind busy, In most cases this is done by maintaining focus and concentration on breathing, a mantra, counting, and a specific location. For example, counting 3, 3, 3, 3, 3, exhale. inhale 2, exhale 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2 inhale 1 exhale 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, l 1,,,start Again at three, imagine sinking or relaxing with each breath. Maintain focus on a point above your eyes in the center of your forehead, a point just above your navel or perhaps in your chest.
    The key here is to maintain focus and counting with the mind,while the body drops away. If your mind starts to focus on the body vibration, bring it back to the focus and concentration of the counting,mantra and focus point, Only focus the mind and allow the body to drop away,
    This will generate greater success,
    Something else you might try is a session in the morning just after waking. This is a time when your body is already very relaxed and your mind is refreshed. It is a good time to practice, good luck
