what sort of meditation exercises can I try out?

I want to try out meditation to ease my mind and jsut help myself become more focus. Any suggestions?


  1. Find a comfortable position either sitting in a chair or on a cushion on the floor or lying down with your spine straight. Try to be somewhere quiet where you will not be disturbed for 10 to 30 minutes. The easiest way to begin is to focus on your breathing. Try to let your thoughts go. If you find that you have become engaged in thought, gently release the thought. Thinking is normal and will happen, the important thing is to recognize when you have begun actively thinking about something and to return to your quiet mind.
