What questions could I ask a Native American doctor with an M.D. (not a shaman)?

For my anthropology class we have to interview a Native American individual. I am interested in medicine, so I want to interview a doctor. What kind of questions could I ask regarding tradition, culture, whatever you can think of?

  1. ask him/her if they were brought up traditional and if so does traditional healing influence their westerrn medicine?
or better yet if they are traditional, ask how they can dispense pharmaceuticals and how does that affect their traditional knowledge?
btw….natives do not have shamans. those are from siberia

The labyrinth has a pathway that you walk in order to reach the center but it goes round and round, back and forth, until you reach the center. The key is to take slow steps and just walk towards the center; taking your time and following your breath.

Osho: Gurdjieff Sacred Dances

Gurdjieff has prepared a group of dancers. The dancers created such a meditative energy, such a great wave of energy, that those who had come just to see the dance, suddenly forgot the dance completely. Something else was there by the side, a door opened through it.. (commentaries by osho)
