What kind of martial arts should i take? Traditional Karate, Kajukenbo Karate, or Tai Chi Chuan?

also, please include WHY you choose whichever option.

  1. Google those MA in ur area and check out the schools. Ask the instructors questions an U decide what u like best. U cant exactly pick a MA because of whar people tell u. Only u can decide which one fits u best. Good luck

    They are not the same thing!

    How long do you plan on studying the martial arts?
    Tai Chi Chuan and the other internal martial arts take a LONG TIME to learn.

  3. It depends a lot on you. How old are you? Is it for self-defense? Long or short term? Etc., etc. My background is Wu tai chi and kenpo karate. So I would be very biased to recommend Kajukenbo and Tai chi. But as far as a good beginning, I would definitely recommend Kajukenbo to introduce you to the martial arts field. It would give you self defense techniques and strengthen your body through your training.
