What is your saying, verse or thought that brings you Peace?

Better
than if there were thousands
of meaningless verses is
one
meaningful
verse
that on hearing
brings peace.

And better than chanting hundreds
of meaningless verses is
one Dhamma-saying
that on hearing
brings peace.

-Dhammapada, 8, translated by Thanissaro Bhikkhu.

Every thought
is like
a wave, a ripple
a turbulence
on a pool of water.
A disturbance
to tranquility.

To escape thought
is to be tranquil,
peaceful, calm
and composed.
And then..
Understanding,Insight, Rapture,
Enlightenment and
Nirvana

Latley – I have kind of a funky “mantra” – but it’s working for me. It is:

“Wow! Some people see things so much differently than I.”

It brings lots of peace.

Namaste!

“You are all multi-dimensional realities. You are learning to use your consciousness to become conscious co-creators of your own reality”

I don’t know where this quote came from.
A good friend used to repeat this to me until I memorized it. A thousand pictures come to mind when I hear it.

“La ilaha il Allah wa Muhammadur Rasoolullah”

There is no deity worthy of worship but Allah and Muhammad is His Messenger

This brings me peace 🙂
