You can clear karma. I learned this from a Buddhist monk. You can at least clear the negativity it can cause in the next life. First you have to have remorse. Mind you remorse is different than guilt. Second you have to contemplate the wrong action you took so that you feel the extent of the suffering caused. I didn’t know you could clear Karma. I thought you had to live with it. To live is to suffer, btw, is a tao saying.

In the Buddhist view, Karma results from your desires which leave subliminal deposits in your psyche, not from your actions as is often the stereotype. Therefore, to escape the cycle of karma, you must eliminate all desires. Of course, if you do this, you will also be enlightened and escape the cycle of rebirth, so it isn’t an easy thing to do.

you can’t “clear karma…”
the basic idea of karma is that the good that you receive in life is measured by the good that you do – if you did something bad, you can’t just do a bunch of good things to make up for it. don’t be silly.
