What is "inner vision" and what is it's purpose?

Do you have it? How does it manifest in you and how do you apply it? Can it be misused, abused? How does one create inner vision…are there techniques or practices? Is it a springboard to greater insights or higher consciousness? Or is it a wrong turn into the occult, away from highest purpose? Is it the same as having psychic powers? Or is it a merging with Source at some level?

  1. Inner vision stems from the consciousness of the third eye…and in the system I study, this is the allowance of seeing all things as God, as Divine in nature….
In the course of meditation practice, over time various abilities that are natural to us all will become available to the practitioner. Some are born with abilities, but to develop them meditation is the most effective.
One pitfall could be becoming attached and overly fascinated with these ‘powers’…..they are useful tools, but not the ultimate experience…… they can be ‘misused’ in this sense, but even that is simply an experience of personal refinement. By and by, the seeker will come to understand the inherent limits of such choices, and will desire for further expansion….
I meditate upon my own inner visions in order to gain more clarity in my life, my true nature…..in order to cultivate awareness. The clearer I am, the more able I am to see into my own life, and the lives of others.
Which I keep to myself, using to grow my own compassion, unless asked what is it that I have seen……as a shaman, these visions I have can be enlightening for some, worrisome for those who seek to keep their own truth shrouded in shadow….each to their own timing, it is not for me to lay upon them.
too much to address in your very interesting question, sorry for the loooooong answer…..lol

  2. The natural inner vision is the insight related to your thoughts, and emotions in picture form; similar to your remembrance of a dream. We all have the ability to observe the inner. You do not create it you only can clean the lens, so too speck. Just consciously look when the monkey mind is stilled. Using the observing tool is a good start when giving attention to the breath. Standing aloft from it leads to standing aloft to the thoughts also. Yes, it is a springboard to building the Third Eye, but not to higher states of consciousness directly. The secret occult society is a very important record that leads to the highest purpose. I have inner vision clearly and some psychic ability to which I do as little as possible. It can take one away from the work.

  3. In inner vision the outer abides, in the outer the inner. I was shattered into trillions of pieces upon my birth into this universe and so my heart is everywhere. Real practice is no practice it is just to be as I am. Psychic powers are of a lower realm although source is at all levels it doesn’t waste time on division, but then again what is time when everything is still, clear, and luminous. : )

  4. Inner Vision is a state of existence,an exalted level of consciousness ( turiya ),and from that state world look totally different where Unity,Harmony and Peace is the order of the day. Once getting into that vision there is no return to ‘ordinary’ levels of consciousness. It is far more higher and superior than the occult and psychic. It is used to connect beings among themselves and to God. It is living with the very source. It is attained by His Grace and our genuine efforts/ longing for Him .

  5. I do not have any experience of my inner vision.I , however believe that a very small part of Source is in me . It guides me at times, but I ignore it taking the guidance as intuition only.
