  1. Human consciousness is comprised of words which interact with each other the same way lego blocks do. Humans are merely vessels for the words and what they mean or represent. Without words, we’d be animals.

  2. Consciousness defies definition. It may involve thoughts, sensations, perceptions, moods, emotions, dreams, and an awareness of self, although not necessarily any particular one or combination of these.[1] Consciousness is a point of view, an I, or what Thomas Nagel called the existence of “something that it is like” to be something.[2] Julian Jaynes has emphasized that “Consciousness is not the same as cognition and should be sharply distinguished from it. … The most common error … is to confuse consciousness with perception.” [3] He says, “Mind-space I regard as the primary feature of consciousness. It is the space which you preoptively are ‘introspecting on’ or ‘seeing’ at this very moment”.[4]
Ned Block divides consciousness into phenomenal consciousness (similar definition to subjective consciousness), which is subjective experience itself (being something), and access consciousness, which refers to the availability of information to processing systems in the brain (being conscious of something).[5]
The issue of what consciousness is, and to what extent and in what sense it exists, is the subject of much research in philosophy of mind, psychology, neuroscience, cognitive science, and artificial intelligence. Issues of practical concern include how the presence of consciousness can be assessed in severely ill individuals;[6] to what extent non-humans are self conscious; at what point in fetal development consciousness begins; and whether computers can achieve conscious states.[7][8][9]
In common parlance, consciousness denotes being awake and responsive to the environment, in contrast to being asleep or in a coma

  3. It is comprised of different levels of spirit, soul, and mind. Our information comes in two ways, by learning in the physical and through the cosmos.

  4. It is subtle energy which ties into the field. It can be amplified through intention. The Field is described by Lynne McTaggart’s book: “The Field”. check amazon.com

  5. If you are hoping to get a definite answer, you will be disappointed. This is one of those questions that has intrigued mankind since the dawn of civilization, and will continue to do so. If you are asking this question to instigate thought on deep subjects, kudos, for tackling the hard stuff. Is our awareness/conscious/mind just chemical and electrical reactions going on in our brain? That is my personal belief. If we had souls that were in the driver seat, I don’t think people would be so effected by brain injuries or electrical/chemical imbalances in the brain. I am sure we have all known someone or heard of people who had a chemical imbalance or an injury that affected their brain, and while they were physically okay afterwards, their behavior changed dramatically. I don’t see how this kind of thing would effect an eternal soul.

  6. Great question, I’ve been looking into consciousness apart from a philosophical and psychological perspective into a Quantum physics and neuroscience perspective. Right now some quantum fellows are looking at consciousness from a mathematical perspective the same way they look at randomness, pattern and chance. We want to know how the “choosing” process works, consciousness chooses from trillions of possibilities, we already know its a self-programming program. But whats it made out of and predicting consciousness from a mathematical perspective is challenging, check out Quantum Consciousness. All energy is information (energy in- formation a certain order or pattern) information is present within thought, and thought is consciousness. So I can well say that everything is consciousness.

  7. can anybody tell me, links for a you tube video or just tell me what u know on this watched a program and a scientist could tell when a person was going to hit a switch before did just seconds before or so .
by reading brain inpulses before the person can make a movement
