What happened back in the early 60’s?

I believe that something of a spiritual nature happened back then. The first major event as a result of this was the Kennedy assassination, or maybe when he got us into Viet Nam.I think maybe it was the birth of the man that will become the antichrist.Nothing has gone “right” since then with rare exceptions like the Reagan presidency. Finally we have what is easily the least qualified man as president elected during a period of crisis. My question is: What happened back then that led to the current mess the world is in now?

Lust of being a super power thus involving more and more conflicts/war
and a money making intention of the people around the Govt.A huge amount of public treasury was spent ignoring peoples interest.Result of this is the present crisis

Young people started rebelling against everything their parents had taught them by using drugs, protesting the government and being promiscuous. It was supposed to be a loving, free time, but it was anything but, and it helped usher in what we are seeing today. In addition, singers and musicians rose to prominence as role models, and people like Elvis and The Beatles abused their influence.

Long story short… The Federal Reserve is a private group of elites with the agenda of a New World Order. They were gaining power enough to be a major threat in the early 60’s. JFK wrote executive order 11110 which was to federalize the Federal Reserve. He underestimated them, and it was likely the reason which cost him his life. His Executive Order found the round file, and since then the Fed has virtually ran our government. The CFR was created in 1921 with the sole intent, and purpose of creating a New World Order. Today, over 90% of high… Read more »

Edg you know I love ya, so DON’T hate me…But here it goes…. Lincoln was president through a horrible time in this country. (Which also took place during a ’60’s, of a sort…) The Civil War… one of the biggest internal tragic, encompassing times in the history of America. He didn’t even make it to senate.. he was still a lawyer when he became president! lol He had ZERO military experience, yet he managed to command and direct a massive campaign with great skill, becasue he knew who to select to ‘run’ the war. Keep in mind he did ALL… Read more »

The 60s were the end of our innocence forever. Too many young people who were strung out on drugs and ‘doing their own thing’ were rebelling against the values we were all taught, as they were protesting the Vietnam war, and going against everything that was Establishment that we had known and accepted. Of course, many of those same people have changed their minds about what they were practicing as they grew older. Kennedy’s assassination was a true turning point for all of us. Then, Martin Luther King’s assassination, then, Robert Kennedy’s assassination. It gave pause to the country as… Read more »

Young people were being drafted to fight and possibly die in a war they did not support. Many people believed a nuclear war between US and USSR would end mankind in the near future. This made a lot of people reckless, and irresponsible. Many people questioned the assumptions of our society, believing they had brought mankind to the brink of destruction.

People thought using drugs would make us better. That dream ended with a guy called Charles Manson.

See, I know Y/A will delete my answer but it amazes me how much BULLCRACK you posted as a question above WHICH, is your right. With that being said, why would anyone want to vote for someone who all during their campaign, complained instead of CAMPAIGNING and rallying his/her country? In the 60’s, since you know very little about it, people UNITED who were tired of OPPRESSION, tired of REGRESSION of the “old ways”. AND if you are going to tell a story, tell it correctly. REAGAN, CARTER and the first BUSH put America in this financial pattern, problem and… Read more »

It was not something of a spiritual nature — rather, it was of a criminal nature. The turning point was, I believe the new world order crowd assassinating JFK and getting away with it. The evidence has been there for years and years but media, government and society chose to look the other way. That put the new world order crowd above the law and out of scrutiny by media. By allowing the crime, they have been permitted to spend the past 50 years strengthening their grip on power to lead us to where we are today. If we had… Read more »

WelI I was around back then but you lost me when you started talking about the Antichrist, saying nothing went right except for Reagan and that Obama isn’t qualified. If you care to study history you will find it runs in cycles and the has been in much worse shape in the past than it is now.

Reagan was the one who created the huge national debt that we are dealing with now and republican deregulation has a lot to do with the financial crisis, not to mention that the Bush administration were a bunch of theives.

Kennedy did not get us into Vietnam. We were there when he was a Senator. Reagan was fortunate he was not arrested along with Lt.Col. Oliver North, and imprisoned.
What happened? A lot of uninformed voters put the wrong people in the white house, is what happened.
