What does Islam say about Chakra's?

The 7 energy points in the human spirit.
If you dont know about it, read on it and tell me what you think. I heard that chakra’s & Islam are somehow linked, do we believe in the 7 chakra’s as well, or something similar?
It is practiced in Hinduism, but what does Islam say on this?

  1. well i know about “chakra” and every person have different chakra spirit but how it is related to Islam!!!!! well i dont know!!!! btw nice Q!!!!
and i think it just a coincidence chakra is in no way related to Islam i my opinion

  2. Chakras and Sufism are somewhat linked.
Chakras are just energy points in your body, they don’t have much to do with religion. Just like meditation, religion doesn’t mention it but it is practiced by many religious people.
“Each of the five prayer positions has a corresponding yoga position, and the positions together “activate” all seven “chakras” (energy fields) in the body. The idea of activating a chakra may sound linguistically strange, but it is easier to understand once one translates that word into more familiar language.”

  3. Chakras are mostly used in Hinduism, who believe in seven chakras, and Sufiis who believe in five otherwise it is used in yoga and stretching. The only concept in which “chakras” are actually used in Islam are during the five prayers.

Doctors claim that chakras are activated during yoga sessions. That part responds by being more “awake” and aware. Another part of the body that was not touched, but is along the same nerve pathway, may also respond. Thus doctors highly recommend yoga to patients and as a daily activity, we muslims do it five times a day.
