What do you think of tarot cards?

Just wanted to know some opinions on tarot cards. Do you think their evil or do you think that they can help show insights into ppl’s lives?

  1. I use tarot cards. I don’t view them so much as divination as I do as tools to show you what is going on in your life and what may happen if you continue on the path you are on. Their usefulness is in revealing things that you already know deep down but don’t like to admit to yourself. If you look inside and are brutally honest with yourself about your actions, motivations, fears, and choices, you wouldn’t need tarot cards.

  2. I love the art work of some of them, other than that I don’t think about them at all. They are just superstitious rubbish.

  3. I think they are a fun way to pass the time. It is also cool to bring to school because you can tell your friends fortune. What is weird is when it is true.

  4. They’re amusing. They’re often quite artistic.
They’re just cards with pictures on them; they’re no more or less evil than a deck of playing cards.
They don’t have any mystical powers. They will not show any insight into people’s lives that the people in question don’t already have. However, they can be useful as a means of rearranging one’s thoughts or bringing subconscious feelings to the foreground.

  5. They are a tool the enemy uses to distract us from the real truth which is God.
Number one purpose Satan focuses on is “distracting” us, if he can do that, then the doors are opened to start making us doubt.

  6. I think they are more for fun, but they following the same system as everything else, everything on this planet follows certain numbers, so although the cards are not really saying anything, they are played in a reasoning that following life, and living on a round planet that 365 days with a leap lear to correct, based on 360 degrees of rotation (that does not need to be corrected, and if you start to divide you get close to 24, which gets down to 2, which even for binary systems (the basis of our machines) or even man and woman, even life and death, throwing cards would mimic what seems indefinite, are actually very limited in the way numbers we understand in our reasoning, always count as the same.
Not evil, it’s just something that is not ordained, so God must hate it, yet we live on a ball… Most card games are based on 12 numbers, so regardless how you mix up the deck, you will always get stuff that comes up to 12. Of course if you square 12, you come up with 4, which is the basis for our currency, time and building systems (as most buildings following the quarter rule, right down to the 2×4).

  7. You can be sure that God never uses magic or the occult to reveal his will or to exercise his power. Instead, as Amos 3:7 assures us, Jehovah ‘reveals his confidential matter to his servants the prophets.’ Moreover, dabbling in the occult can bring one under the influence and control of the leader of the demons, Satan, who is a liar and whose strategy is to deceive people. He and his minions are out to harm, having always been cruel, even killing people. (Job 1:7-19; 2:7; Mark 5:5) Understandably, Micah condemned divination and sorcerers when he urged us to walk with the true God.
True spirituality is found only with Jehovah and his pure worship. (John 4:24) “Make your requests of Jehovah,” the prophet Zechariah wrote. (Zechariah 10:1) Even if you experience attacks or temptations caused by wicked spirit forces, remember that “everyone who calls on the name of Jehovah will get away safe.” (Joel 2:32) This reassurance is significant as we keep close in mind his great day.
My advice would be to stay away from those tarot cards they will only bring you harm and misfortunes.

  8. Tarot card reading is on par with other occult practices like mysticism, divination, astrology, psychics, channeling, etc. God considers all of these abominable since they come straight from satan.
“Do not turn to mediums or seek out spiritists, for you will be defiled by them. I am the Lord your God.” Leviticus 19:31
“A man or a woman who is a medium or a wizard shall be put to death; they shall be stoned with stones, their blood shall be upon them” (Leviticus 20:27)
There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, or one who practices witchcraft, or a soothsayer, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, or one who conjures spells, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. For all who do these things are an abomination to the LORD, and because of these abominations the LORD your God drives them out from before you. You shall be blameless before the LORD your God. For these nations which you will dispossess listened to soothsayers and diviners; but as for you, the LORD your God has not appointed such for you. Deuteronomy 18:10-14
