What are your thoughts on this woman's words?

“One very important thing I learned from Blue was that if we wish to understand how the creative universe and nature operates and everything within it, then we need to first understand how our bodies operate because the two are identical and reflective of each other.
The shape of human organs, glands/chakra as whiteholes and blackholes, the communication between cells and how they group together and move, how blood / water flow, how the heart pumps blood as well as electromagnetic energy around the body etc. We are a bunch of cells inside a human body which is a cell inside the body of earth which is a cell inside the body of the solar system, inside a galaxy, inside a universe, inside another universe, inside another universe etc etc. Think micro and macro.”
—-The Science of Staying Awake and Aware.
Is there any validity here, in your opinion?

  1. I’m sorry to say not much, in my view. But don’t mind me. I’m a hard headed stick in the mud. This kind of fluffy, emotive stuff just doesn’t do much for me.

  2. I would find it tedious to read her with any regularity because I would have to think to hard to get to the meaning.

  3. Sure, I think so.
To understand the universe, we can start with the most basic building blocks of life. Not only may this be tied in to the start of the universe, but it shows us the paradoxical simplicity and complexity of what the universe has created. These small things put together are what makes up everything, after all.
I once heard a philosophical idea that if you could fully and completely understand every aspect of a single blade of grass, you would understand everything. There may be some truth to this.
Living cells are truly phenomenal things.

  4. Yes, very true. Microcosm is identical with macrocosm. As is the seed so is the universe says the Vedas.

  5. It sounds exactly like the bullshit that flows with great conviction and verbosity from the good Dr. Deepak Chopra, a man who proves that if music were bullshit, he would be a brass band.

  6. Seems like a sound analogy to me. I don’t take it literally, since obviously the human body has devised a different set of processes than the Earth or the solar system, or the Galaxy or the Universe. But as an analogy the speaks of the connection between ourselves and our environment, I think it’s spot on.
Perhaps she might have thought twice before using the word “identical”, since that will obviously turn a few people off, being clearly incorrect and all 🙂 Being identical and reflective at the same time almost seems like a contradiction as well, so I think she knows. It’s just poor, or lazy use of words. Perhaps trying to add weight to her point of view. It sure did shock me when I read it, but that’s probably because it’s just so incorrect 😉

  7. Hi there Bluebootz!
“we need to first understand how our bodies operate because the two are identical and reflective of each other”
It sounds nice and it sounds like creative advice.
All humans have done is find a way to annihilate each other and hunt other species to extinction.
We must first as aware humans realize how are awareness affects each other first. We must first understand ourselves before understanding anything about how simple yet complex the universe is.
    Thanks for the post!

  8. When a kind of grand explanation or philosophical logos is sought, then there will be 2 ways – at least – of looking at things. One is the conventional understanding spoken by this person. Her way seems accurate and reflective and yet is provisional. The amazing thing is that when looking into the universe from this provisional starting point, through the lens of either physics or neuroscience, we are finding that the entire cosmos exists “inside” us, not the other way around as spoken by this person.
Consciousness is undeniable and it turns out to be non-local. Check out the Bell Theorem of quantum mechanics which suggests that all of it is in consciousness and there is only one consciousness. Buddhists and others have taught that there is no birth or death, except provisionally so. The universe is empty in Buddhist terms, meaning that nothing at all has any separate existence even though there are causes and conditons for the phenomena that exist, such as the cosmos.
Ch’an Master Sheng Yen taught a way of meditation which progressed from an awareness of one’s body (not the particular parts) to that body as being the entire world. It is an intuitive way into the same modern non local understanding of science. It is worth checking out and definitely worth some effort in finding out how this method may open mind to true nature. Remembering that Einstein and many other scientists are known to have solved major breakthroughs in dreams, meditation seems worth checking out.
The Buddha suggested it is all a grand dream – 2500 years ago. If we can awaken to this dream we can begin to look through the telescope from the better end. Now that will be creative for sure. Losing the telescope altogether is an even better idea. It is only impersonal ignorant ideas and behavior that keep us nailed to the same old uncreative vantage point.

  9. Hey Bluebootz! :~)
This doesn’t particularly resonate fully with me, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t have any validity. Matter of fact, Im about to write it down, just in case I need to pull it off the shelf later.
What did, “pop,” out for me, was when you wrote,”…if we wish to understand how the creative universe and nature operates and everything within it,…”
I am seeking a better understanding of Nature and her laws…Hmm…interesting!
    Thanks, Peace!

  10. again i say, Stop, Look, and Listen, smell the roses and then look really look at what it took for that rose to exist!

  11. Not a great deal, no. You don’t learn much about the solar system by studying physiology. Lots of words. She’s confusing physics with metaphysics. They are not equivalent.
But she probably made money off her book, which was the point of the exercise from her point of view.

  12. God did it all. Know that God can help you live a better life if you want Him to help you. You can have a personal relationship with God by saying the prayer below. God is our Creator, all-knowing, all-powerful, eternal, holy, love. God loves us and sent us His Son, Jesus Christ, so we can go to heaven if we know and follow Him. Forever means without end — time on and on without death. Forever is what happens after we die. Either we go to heaven and be with God forever, or we go to hell which is very bad and painful forever. The good people who are saved believers in Jesus Christ go to heaven. The bad people go to hell. We need to know and follow God in this world to get to heaven in the next world. We follow God by loving and obeying Him and loving others for Him. Jesus Christ, God’s Son, is our bridge to God. Jesus died on the cross to cancel our sins. We need to accept Jesus into our life as our Lord and Savior forever to receive God’s blessing and forgiveness plus go to heaven to be with God forever after we die. This is about being a born-again Christian. Faith in God is a gift from God. You can pray for faith in God. Just speak out and ask God for the faith to believe in Him and to follow Him. Some people find faith in God when they realize the beauty in the world is made by God. Evolution can’t explain the world’s natural beauty, for example, the parks in the world, animals, flowers, peacocks, sunsets, butterflies, rainbows, etc. After you have your faith on, you can pray a sinner’s prayer to be a born-again Christian. This prayer is very important and should be said with a sincere heart and faith in God. This is the prayer: “Dear God, I know that I am a sinner and that Jesus Christ is the sacrifice for our sins. I have done the following sins (state these out) and I pray to discontinue these sins. I pray to receive Jesus Christ into my life as my Lord and Savior forever. In Jesus’ name, amen.” I’m Lutheran and I like the Baptist churches too. You could check out a Christian church and also see about their weekly Bible study group as a good way to learn about God’s will for your life. You can pray to God about your daily life and have a Christian church pray for you.

  13. The woman is describing the Hermetic axiom, “As above, So below”. Without understanding this the archaic mysteries of the past will remain just that. The Hermetic philosophy is one of the keys used in occult science.
Had the Rt. Hon. W. E. Gladstone, who prides himself on his Greek scholarship and understanding of the spirit of Homer’s allegories, ever had a real inkling of the esoteric meaning of the Iliad and Odyssey, he would have understood St. John’s “Revelation,” and even the Pentateuch, better than he does. For the way to the Bible lies through Hermes, Bel, and Homer, as the way to these is through the Hindu and Chaldean religious symbols.

  14. .
Thoughts about that woman who wrote about Blue (you)?
Concept of those words are correct.
All is energy. We are all varied aspects of the Onelight’s (God’s) Light, Love.

  15. Beautiful. Extend that awareness to realize that what we do to ourselves and one another, we also do to the planet, the galaxy, and the universe.

  16. Dudes, it’s in the Lord’s Prayer; “on Earth as it is in Heaven. ” Also a clue in Genesis. The reason we aren’t in Paradise is because we ate the fruit from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil; an act of disobedience for sure, but Paradise was lost when we bagan to believe in the separateness of the two. Remember, Lucifer would not be possible were it not for God.
