What are your thoughts on buddhism?

How would you compare it to christianity and islam?

Where can i study buddhism in a formal group setting, i find it quite mind relaxing and interesting

im from west yorkshire and am very mobile in that area

I agree with some of the philosophy there are some branches of Buddhism where there IS such thing as sin, heaven, hell and supernatural hokum.

As a former Buddhist, I can tell you that Buddha was a very, very intelligent man, and many of his arguments are very well-constructed. The only qualm I have with the religion lies in one of his premises, the ‘First Noble Truth’, that life is suffering. I don’t think that this is true, and the invalidity of this basic premise distorts the entire philosophy. You can still find grains of wisdom within it, but you have to be careful, as accepting that idea can lead you to some shockingly nihilistic conclusions. It is one of the highest forms of ethics in the world
and is a collection of different religions( such as different Mahyana sects) and philososphical approches and practices and traditions

I prefer Christianity to it but it to Islam
Buddhism can be non theist or polytheist or whatever but both Christinaity, Islam and Judaism are monotheist ( One and only one God and Creator and Lord)

There are also internet groups and instructors
