  1. They don’t have tenents or dogma like western Religion. Confucius focused on social behavior, Taoism teaches simplicity and balance in life and the Universe, and Buddhism in it’s basic form is all about ending suffering and encouraging lovingkindness.

  2. interesting.
I think it is best described by an oriental painting called the three vinegor tasters.
It is a picture of a confucianist, a daoist and a buddhist standing around a cauldren of vinegor.
The confucionist focuses on family and government values believes that restoring order to the world will bring humanity closer to the creator. he is frowning after tasteing the vinegor because he thinks disorder is reason for it being sour.
The Buddahist thinks that all life is bitter and the only resolve is to transend the material world and reach nirvana. He frowns at the taste because it reminds him of the bitterness of life.
The Daoist focus is on improvment of the self through making good choices in the options life offers.
He is the only one smiling after tasteing the vinegor because he recognizes that sweetness is the polarity of bitterness and everything is exactly as it should be.
These 3 philosophies can compaired to the Hebrew religion of betterment through rules. The Christian religion a better life after death and Hermeticism understanding the polar oppisites in life and using them all to your advantage.

  3. Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism have upheld the Chinese culture and heritage for 5,000 years. The three beliefs have spread into other Asian countries and beyond.
Confucianism teaches moral value in kindness, person/person relationship, manner/politeness, knowledge/wisdom, and honesty. Many dynasties have employed scholars who well versed in Confucianism.
For the Taoist and Buddhist belief, read the second last paragraph on page #8 in the Zhuan Falun Lecture on the web.
Falun Gong is a unique Buddhist Schools. Falun Gong is based upon the universal principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance. Falun Gong consists of five sets of powerful exercises. Demonstration video are free to download.
Falun Gong, Tibetans, other Buddhists, and Christians have been persecuted in China. The most offensive human right violation is the organ harvesting from the Falun Gong practitioners in China.
Can you support Falun Gong practitioners in China, please ?
