Hey there!
I’m just curious.

1) What can you accomplish with doing yoga?

2) How long should you do it?

3) What are the best yoga exercises to perform?

Thanks.
God Bless.

  • Hi!
i am considering taking a yoga class to help me in ice skating.

    1) you can accomplish: becoming FLEXIBLE, meditating, relaxation, you will also have better posture

    2) My op ion is that you should do it for 4 months or more. You will become extremely flexible if you do it for 1 year!! i am not sure if you want to accomplish flexibility, but being flexible helps you alot! it can help in gym class, dancing, DEFIANTLY gymnastics, ice skating….etc.

    3) it depends…. My personal favorite exercise is the bridge. Your instructor may recommend what exercise are right for you.

******************* i HIGHLY recommend getting a private instructor because:
    ~they focus on only YOU
~ they will tell you what you are doing wrong right away…. unlike in a group lesson where they focus on everyone
~you will LESS LIKELY get hurt because they are always watching you.
~you have more a variety of what excersizes you do. EXAMPLE: you might not be able to do a lunge when every one else can. your instructor will GRADUALLY help you do a lunge instead of right away!

***the price at my yoga school is 25$ half hour and 50$ one hour.
    Thanks for reading this!!!!

i hope you enjoy yoga! ill let you know how my class goes! XD!

  • You will notice improvements in your health, strength, flexibility and general quality of life. Many scientific studies confirm the remarkable benefits of yoga. Yoga improves the flexibility of your spine and decreases pain in people suffering from chronic back pain. People who practice yoga have higher levels of antioxidants in their blood to fight free radical damage. When your busy schedule, daily stresses and low spirits upset you and take you down, yoga is a way to nurture yourself. It can be done for about 45 minutes at least three times a week. instructional DVD like Yoga for Beginners with Patricia Walden will start you off right. Yoga for Beginners with Barbara Benagh or A.M. P.M. Yoga with Rodney Yee will guide you gently into the poses. The magazine Yoga Journal introduces you to the yoga community and provides helpful ideas and encouragement. Yoga exercise equipment and instructional DVDs are available from many online sources, including Amazon.

  • Yoga is great for stretching & limbering up the body, and adding strength to the muscles & firming & toning & just about everything that you do excercise for, actually! OK, 2: do it for about 1/2 hour to 45 minutes 3 days a week, or every other day, And 3: the best excercises to perform, well that is a difficult question to answer, without knowing what you are trying to accomplish with yoga. My suggestion to you is to get a couple of yoga DVDs and try them, and if you don’t like the instructors or the excercises, try another couple of DVDs, until you find some that suit you.
