Work at gaining control over your breathing and life, almost in that order, while sitting or standing, grounding yourself daily, firmly pressing feet to the floor and feeling the solid ground beneath you.

Also, here… try a couple free meditation demo downloads and see what you think:

Meditation should be done daily, and if possible it should be done morning and evening, or before and after work, whichever is more convenient…When you find yourself with some time, even a few minutes, during the day, sit and meditate. Do not discuss the calmness and centering gained through meditation by talking about it to others.

Stop asking questions. Stop thinking. Do what feels right. Find the area of your body that won’t let you concentrate and change it.

1. when you first start it’s very hard to concentrate so don’t worry
2. keep your eyes closed
3. Try to focus on one thing, like breathing in happy things and breating out negative thoughts
4. Do it daily

I meditate as well, and i can understand where you are coming from.
these are things my own meditation guru has pointed out can help us focus, but in the long term, it is something you develop.
