what are 3-5 similaraties between Christianity, Judaisms, Islam and Taoism?

  1. 1.- Bunch of idiotic fanatics
    2.-Greedy crooks
3.-Hot babes, (Catholic Schoolgirls, Jewish Princesses, Japanese Geisha, and thishttp://www.lovelyish.com/715173647/too-sexy-for-my-hijab-the-controversial-lingerie-ad/)

  2. I can give you some similarities between all these groups…
    They are composed of persons
All persons want the same things in their lives
They all want to be good and have a faith that they can feel good about
They all want peace to have a family happy and fed
They all want to worship a god, or a “bigger person”, whatever without derision or punishment
They all want to feel they are doing the right thing
They all want to feel they are making a difference
They all want to share their happiness with others.
They all want people around them who feel as they do, to talk to, and learn from,
They all are unsure about what comes after death
They all fear death, pain, suffering,
They all grieve for lost friends, children , family
They all want to go on to something better than they have now.
They all want to look at their god, in their own way, with no hatred for them or their family
So regardless of the name of their religion…we need to respect each others choices, not criticize or call anyone sinful or misguided, or heretic’s or any of the many names we call others who do not think as we do. We need tolerance. Each in ther own way must find their way. You may feel with all of your heart you are right, but allow for others to feel that way too.

  3. I will give you one off the top of my head and come back latter if I have time to think about it.
All of them and their original teachings support the Baha’i Faith. Taoism and the Baha’i Faith have some marvelous parallels. There are several good books that (very unintentionally) show those parallels is Tao of Physics by Fred(?) Capra. Fred does not feel right, but it is something like that. I am very tired and my memory is not at its best right now, and there have been at least a dozen books since that one was published that demonstrate that connection. Let me offer a quick quote while I am thinking.
The Jews await the Messiah, the Christians the return of Christ, the Moslems the Mahdi, the Buddhists the fifth Buddha, the Zoroastrians Shah Bahram, the Hindus the reincarnation of Krishna, and the Atheists – a better social organization! Baha’u’llah represents all these, and thus destroys the rivalries and the enmities of the different religions; reconciles them in their primitive purity, and frees them from the corruption of dogmas and rites.
    (Abdu’l-Baha, Tablets of Abdu’l-Baha v1, p. vii)
Still drawing a blank. I will try to check back later,

  4. In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
Abraham → Issac and his descendants → Judaism → Christianity.
    Ishmael and his descendants
    – All three claims that there is only One God.
    – The fundamental theological difference arises from the acceptance/ denial of the Messiah, Jesus Christ.
    – Each one of these three religions have something in common with a second other, which totally contradicts the third other.
    – Jesus is Messiah in both Christianity and Islam, but not in Judaism.
    – Wine is allowed in Judaism and Christianity, but not in Islam.
    – God is one in Judaism and Islam, but its a triune God in Christianity
You’d be surprised to know just how important/loved/respected Jesus and the Virgin Mary are in Islam (Chapter 19 is dedicated to Virgin Mary in Quran).
    10 brief points Christians
should know about Muslims and Jesus
    By Sound Vision Staff Writer
    1. Muslims love Jesus. We also love Abraham, Moses, and Noah, to name just a few other Prophets Muslims revere. May God’s peace be upon all of these great messengers of God.
    2. Muslims also love the mother of Jesus, the Virgin Mary. We believe she was a pious and noble woman chosen over all of the women of the world.
    3. Muslims believe that Jesus was born miraculously of a virgin mother and no father. His birth is miraculous like the birth of Adam, the first human being, who was created with neither mother nor father.
    4. Muslims do not believe that Jesus was the son of God. God is so powerful and self-sufficient that He does not need a son or any kind of partner.
    5. In Arabic Bible the name for God is Allah. Therefore all Arab Christian call God Allah as Muslim do as well.
    6. Jesus did not die on the cross. Rather, God saved him as his enemies were confused about him. Jesus was taken up by God to Heaven.
    7. Jesus is called Isa (pronounced Eesa) in Arabic.
    8. Jesus performed miracles by the Will of God, like healing the blind and those with leprosy.
    9. Jesus prayed to the same God as all Prophets and we pray to.
10.Jesus will return before the end of the world.
The second coming of Jesus is one of our core beliefs as well as one of the signs that judgment day is near.
Islam, Christianity and Judaism have a lot of common ground…
Here’s the english translation of Virgin Mary’s chapter in the Quran
    peace be with you
