Unconscious mind vs subconscious?

How does the unconscious mind differ from the subconscious?
For example: let’s say a girl met someone whom she used to know. She doesn’t know that she used to know this person, nor does she know this person’s name. One day she calls this person by name [since she she used to know him and his name]. Unconscious or subconscious?

  1. unconscious-you have no self awareness, like you don’t “think about it”
subconscious-you are reading this in your subconcious, its pretty much whats going on in your head that you are aware of. so the answer is subconcious because these unconcious thoughts affected you conciously.

  2. Unconscious mind is the part of the mind that you are not aware of the subconscious is something lying in the mind beneath consciousness but these terms have been long condemned. The unconscious mind is still in use but preconscious (which is is applied to thoughts which are unconscious at the particular moment in question, but which are not repressed and are therefore available for recall and easily capable of becoming conscious) is more accepted.

  3. When one is in waking condition, he is conscious. When the same person is in deep sleep, he becomes unconscious. At this stage, no one can use the brain. Because the brain also sleeps and takes rest.
Sub-conscious is the store-house of all our unsolved anxieties and worries, which requires deep consideration to find a solution.
Ultimately one should also know that mysterious are the ways of the mind. It can go in any direction at any speed to any destination instantaneously, without any restriction, limitation or condition.
