What is the meaning of the pinecone statue and courtyard in the Vatican City?

Their is a huge bronze pine cone statue in the Pine cone Court within the Vatican City, during my studies, the symbolic meaning of the pine cone is to represent the Pineal gland, which (as some of you know) controls the melatonin in your body and is shaped like a pine cone, hence the name. Some also call it the “third eye”. Why then, is it present in the Vatican City? What kind of meaning do they (the church) tie to it?
Please, serious answers only.
Awwwwah come on people! Not here to answer serious questions?

Pinecones regularly appear framed in Freemason Octagons on the ceilings of Masonic Lodges, and Large Freemason sculptures on the side of the Whitehall Building in the New York Financial District goes so far as to depict two enormous intertwining snakes spiraling up to a pinecone overlooking Battery Place (which is striking similarity to the Staff of Osiris).
Vatican and freemasons use ancient pagan symbols as they secretly celebrate pagan gods. There’s no excuse for Vatican to use this pagan symbols even if Vatican was built in the same land where ancient pagan altars used to be… Vatican shouldn’t have any of this statues or paintings in honour of pagan gods or saints…. Bible tells us that God ordered us in one of his commandments not to have anything like this, statutes or paintings of people, animals, birds, plants…. nothing at all!!! Vatican should know better then to still desplay ancient pagan symbols etc.

It’s a popular garden ornament. You wouldn’t expect a gnome with a fishing rod in the Vatican, would you?

Ingesting oil of pine turpintine decalcifys the pineal gland. A teaspoon max a day up to 50 days. Kills all biofilms! Lyme, candida, morgellions, mits, parasites and keeps the pineal gland pure! This IS THE SECRET TO optimum health.

The pine cone is the symbol of Cybele who rode a chariot, and it stood at the turning point of the chariot circuit where the chariots swung round in their home run, Ben Hur style

The Pineal gland does discrete DNT which allows you to experience an out of body experience. The religions know more then they are willing to share. I believe you’re on earth to meditate and experience an out of body experience. Free your spirit from your body and travel the universe. God is within you, you need to find him. We are taught very little about this because they want us ignorant , hence slaves to the ones who possess the knowledge. How much money does the vatican have?.

To find out details of why the large Pine Cone is in the Vatican, see David Wilcock’s video ‘2012 Enigma’. Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1kvZSR06lhE

About 25 minutes in, he starts speaking details of this.

Okay, I’ve taken this for granted for so long, but I’ve just been scrolling through images of the pineal gland – it doesn’t really look like a pine cone – so, while the pine cone clearly has some meaning (perhaps similar to the phoenix – the seeds of an evergreen tree that opens after the fire that may have destroyed it’s parent) I am not convinced about its link to the pineal gland.

The pineal gland produces DMT something found in most plants and all mammals on earth. Look it up

I agree Jmrad.
I makes me wonder what role the Vatican will play on the world stage in future, and which ‘spiritual portals’ it will attempt to open.

It is indeed the representative shape of the pineal gland and stands as proof that the Vatican has more secrets than it is wiling to admit.

The 1st century Roman bronze Pigna is a most conspicuous use of ancient regenerative symbolism. This symbol, representing eternal life, originally graced the temple of fair Isis. The Roman Catholic Church built the Vatican over the ruins and happily installed the fountain as a center piece of their courtyard. One point, while pagan in origin, the pine cone represents eternal life to the Church as well.

Sometimes art is just art.

The colossal bronze pine cone was cast in the 1st or 2nd century by Publius Cincius Salvius who left his name on the base.

This was way before the Catholic Church was given the property upon which Vatican City sits. There is much pre-Christian and non-Christian art in the Vatican and its museums.

With love in Christ.

COURTYARD OF THE PIGNA

This courtyard off the Vatican Museum, designed by Bramante, a huge pinecone, which was once part of a fountain, and a giant head of Octavia (Roman matron, sister of Emperor Augustus and wife of Marc Antony).

The giant pinecone represents the Pineal Gland, it is a remnant of the Old (Constantinian) St. Peter’s Basilica. The pinecone can be found in almost every religion, there is also a pinecone on the Pope’s Staff.

Be Blessed:-)
