It is very difficult to become a teen witch if you dont know what your doing. i’ve tried my hardest to figure out what your supposed to do.. many of my resources say”if you say your a witch then you are” i mean, will all spells work? how do you know if you ARE a witch and you can start the spells?
>_> makes no sence what so ever
all i think i know is your supposed to do a ritual to determin if its right for you. then make your book of shadows. can you look up spells on the internet after that? do you use books for spells? im sorry. i dont want to start practicing something i dont know about! can anyone help me?!?!
Wicca isn’t about casting spells. It’s a RELIGION. It’s about the worship of natural forces in the form of the Lord and the Lady. Get your hands on a book called “The Truth About Witchcraft Today” by Scott Cunningham. It’s a good place to start for the layman. Then you can check out “Wicca for the Solitary Practitioner” by the same author. These two books should explain what you need to know to start.
A book of shadows is a personal record of what you’ve learned. You start by copying (by hand) the basic ritual forms and prayers like the Charge of The Goddess and the Wiccan Rede, and then add other things, like the various characteristics of materials you can use to cast spells (yes, it does get in there eventually, but you don’t have to cast spells to be a Wiccan), information about what spells you cast and why and their results, recipes, dates of the full moon, etc.
