Luke 17:20 – And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come,
he answered them and said, “The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall
they say, ‘Lo here! or, lo there!’ for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.”
Jesus also said, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Light.” This means he IS the way, he IS truth, he IS the light. The only way to heaven (zen, enlightenment) is “through him.”
This all means the only way to heaven (WHATEVER you want to call it – I call it one’s true nature) is through TRUTH, through LIGHT. Remember, Jesus WAS truth, he WAS the light – he was a manifestation of HEAVEN (this is what he called it).
Is – Jesus IS Truth!
Jhn 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Remember, Jesus WAS truth, he WAS the light – he was a manifestation of HEAVEN (this is what he called it).
And that is correct. And by making Jesus our Lord and Savior, we become citizens of the kingdom of God – heaven. But ONLY by doing so!
Repent and be Baptized
My comment? Anyone claiming to know the truth, without leaving room to account for mistakes, is trying to take over stupids who actually believe it.
The very moment I read Luke the rest of the text became “I’m your father”.
Spam again, I want more points.
Jesus is coming back, prepare, repent!
Truth revealing the Truth!
Remember what you allow yourself to think, see, hear, say and do literally sets into motion God’s
creative powers that form the matrix of life’s reality you find yourself now walking.
(116) And when Allah will say: O Isa son of Marium! did you say to men, Take me and my mother for two gods besides Allah he will say: Glory be to Thee, it did not befit me that I should say what I had no right to (say); if I had said it, Thou wouldst indeed have known it; Thou knowest what is in my mind, and I do not know what is in Thy mind, surely Thou art the great Knower of the unseen things.
(117) I did not say to them aught save what Thou didst enjoin me with: That serve Allah, my Lord and your Lord, and I was a witness of them so long as I was among them, but when Thou didst cause me to die, Thou wert the watcher over them, and Thou art witness of all things.
(118) If Thou shouldst chastise them, then surely they are Thy servants; and if Thou shouldst forgive them, then surely Thou art the Mighty, the Wise.
(119) Allah will say: This is the day when their truth shall benefit the truthful ones; they shall have gardens beneath which rivers flow to abide in them for ever: Allah is well pleased with them and they are well pleased with Allah; this is the mighty achievement.
(120) Allah’s is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and what is in them; and He has power over all things.
then where did He come from? and where did He go? heaven is His abode and our audience.
You must became a child again, to reach the kingdom of heaven which is within you!
(Zen enlightenment) is not in that scripture. 1Cor. 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
This means that you cannot know nor understand God’s Word without having His Spirit living in you. You shouldn’t read it and then put your own interpretation to it. The Spirit is the only one that can teach you all things in His Word. John 14:6 says, “I am the Way the Truth and the Life” not the light. John 1:4 says, “In Him was Life and the Life was the light of men.” He is the light in every Believer. Please get your verses right. Thanks.
By the way, because He is in us that is where we come to meet Him, within our spirit where the Kingdom of God is. One day the Kingdom of God will be physically established on earth. Revelation 21:Chapter 21:1-4
And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
“Not with observation” you’ve stated “it’s nature”… let’s define that what Jesus is talking about is in practices and etiquettes and behavior and such of that kind.
He “is”… only for those he defined he “was”. That being for the lost sheep of the house of Israel. For the rest who are gentiles, only get crumbs. I cannot speak for secularist “christians” who don’t even take the crumbs.
Jesus’s behavior and message was manifestation of heavenly methods and practices. For those who rejected the god in heaven, became fallen. They were rather thrown out and down by the god! And they were made to be humbled, to be lowered.
So for us to be in heaven, we have to lower ourselves and humble ourselves… and the pharisees didn’t have that. They were the least of those who humbled themselves. And they thus never had heaven in them.
For the muslim will say, “assalamu alaykum”… meaning “the peace be upon you”. I have wondered what this “the peace” was, I can only imagine that the muslim has learned to wish others that they have heaven. We say, “rest in peace”. We also say “heaven on earth”. I forget the name of some place that was religiously defined in scripture as “place of peace”, probably Jerusalem… or something else.
You have to understand what the non-gentile meaning of light is. Light is termed as when light is shone upon something, do we see it. Light let’s us see reality. Light is not that which is shine and sparkle.
Enlightening as this may seem, it is a founding point of a new cosmology you might enjoy. Here’s the URL: http://www.urantia.org
IMHO, Jesus as the Way, has been grossly mis-understood in doctrines. I chose to think of the Way as being his intimate relationship with god as Father…a relationship he invites “all who will” to experience.
