Peggy Cappy is a very good yoga instructor I have not experienced her DVDs, but I have seen her on public television.

There are tons of websites out there that can be very helpful as well. The one listed below has lots of practical teachings about yoga that certainly applies to a beginner. Here’s a page with basic yoga poses.
