I went to Peru and studied for 6 months as a shaman’s apprentice. My journey is outlined in detail in my book Shamans and Healers. The medium/psychic stuff is REAL for sure… Though it is from the dark side.
Most of the books on the subject are highly biased and cannot be trusted. I back up my words with names, dates and photos.
I think that the ones that want to be paid are fake. They are really good at picking up body language. They also ask questions that are almost always capable of happening. An example is: You’ve had some bad experiences. Then the person will feel trusting and start blabbing their mouth. They have sneaky ways of getting it out of you.
I’m not saying there aren’t any at all because I had an aunt that was psychic. She died a long time ago however and my family (including me) have been pretty good at feeling when something is going to happen or be said.
I would say both. There are probably some real ones out there, but it may not be as dependable, consistent and reliable as hollywood and television make it out to be. There are definitely people out there exploiting the gullible though.
I’m fairly skeptical myself, assuming most psychics to be charlatans. However, I went with my mom last year to a psychic who told my mom that she could expect to have a grandchild in 2010. At this point, I was ready to leave… partly because my mom had been giving me crap for years about giving her a grandbaby and partly because I had NO intentions of this happening, and I knew my brother certainly wasn’t likely to knock any ladies up. But now….. I am pregnant and due in July.
Coincidence maybe, but it definitely made me question my assumptions!!
A psychic in my definition is one who has an extremely clear idea of what she is doing and dealing with, can talk straight into matters, and can pull out your true faces and personalities.
Physics can emotionally control people (without even caring one bit) by using truths from their hearts, for people’s heads are filled with trash.
Physics affect people and don’t easily get affected, though they truly naturally show amusement in anything new.
There are real psychics. I’ve met a couple. But this was always through friends and not by advertisements, etc.
Most “psychics” are just there to exploit the gullible. But there are some real ones too. The best 2 I have ever met, you wouldn’t know. They were just like normal people and in fact had normal lives, normal jobs etc. But they “could see” extra stuff. They “just knew” some extra things…
There are scam artists and real psychics.
The average human is partially a bit psychic, because of dreams.
The REAL psychics are born into it with an untold keen ability. Weaker Psychics (real ones) are the ones who can tell when something is going to be told or said, but not all the time.
Psychics who have had it their whole lives can’t just TELL you the winning Lotto Numbers, it’s not like that. It comes at it’s own time.
Sometimes they’d feel a tinge in them, this tinge can be good or bad and comes randomly. This small tinge lets a psychic know immediately something is wrong with a loved one or someone they are attached to, if they are not attached there is no tinge.
They could walk into a room and suddenly feel the mood, even if nobody is in the room.
Psychics also tend to be worn out after a small outing, due to the emphatic side of their friends emotions that they pick up. They also wake up tired after astral travel.
To finish up, Psychics do exist. Psychics are told to be the humans angels, devils, afterlives talk through. Which makes them mediums.
Psychic-Deal with emotions, thoughts, inner.
Mediums-Deal with ghosts, afterlives.
A person can be both.
Paid psychics and mediums tend to be frauds, looking for money like everyone else, they are scam artists by a 99.99% chance.
Real psychics and mediums keep to themselves, afraid they will be excluded from the “crowd”.
