Did the Jehovah’s witness leave out all the pagan ideas, that Christianity has adopted?

Do they follow any of their own traditions or is everything that they believe in the bible?

as a whole they really do try to follow the Bible perfectly. There are so many who try to do good and are good people and want nothing but good to come of everything they do, but like all great organizations there is corruption and those who are in it for the wrong reasons which can easily mess with people’s heads.

There are those that try so hard to stay away from “worldly” things, but the truth of the matter is this is an impossible feat since we are surrounded by what they try to avoid.

Over all they really do try and steer clear of all things not Biblical. Some of them do a wonderful job in practicing what they preach or what they should preach.

1 John 2:15-17 (KJV) 15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

When I learn about how many Catholics have died at the hands of Catholics then I ask what else is there?

1- Yes, we have endeavored to do that, despite the ridicule of the world which loves those pagan ideas.

2- Everything we believe is in the Holy Bible, God’s Word. We have not made up any Bible of our own, we have merely translated what is written there. And we also use other standard Bibles translated by reputable scholars.

Non-Witnesses and opposers disagree, but what else is new?

What you are trying to sell can only be bought by them who don’t know anything, People who haven’t read or don’t read the bible.

Your counterfeit gospel is a gospel, but you are as if one of the disciples who didn’t obey Matthew 10:5-7 preaching what you haven’t rightly divided.

You should know very well if you are really in tune with the spirit of error you follow, unless you don’t know of what spirit you are of; and many are as you are; That Satan copies God, or else he couldn’t deceive with the same gospel but is only in truth under the anointing of the Spirit.

Your head knowledge of the scripture is without the anointing because it isn’t rightly divided.
For this reason you have to go door to door, and prove what your saying buy pointing it out on paper.

It is the Spirit of God who quickens, the flesh profits nothing (no- thing).

It is by the Spirit of truth, that we are led into the TRUTH. Christmas is a tradition yes, and there isn’t anything wrong with celebrating the birth of Christ, and there isn’t anything wrong with giving your blood to a dying child if, it will save them either.

So spare me your hypocrisy, Pagan Ideas LOL

Since we are free of heathen influences and are truly peaceable and do not have the blood guilt on our hands that centuries of Christendom then who really does teach the truth of the Bible?

We are the only ones that preach the kingdom of God as described in God’s word the Bible in Daniel 2:44. Nobody else does it.
Why has religion got such a bad name for itself because of the centuries of hypocrisy and lack of love it has given to generations of humans. Religion is often synonymously regarded with violence even with Christianity because of the centuries of blood guilt.

They strictly go by the bible.

Although there are a lot of people who claim to be Jehovah’s witnesses who are really not.
So you can’t really say they are ALL the same, just because of one of them does something wrong.

That is what we endeavor to do. There have been times in our past when we realized that we were letting some aspect of false religion interfere with our goal of pure worship. (Christmas, cross, etc…) When we have realized that we have cut it out.

We also endeavor to live our lives in accord with Bible standards. We are not perfect, but we do try.

Mr Kip has it wrong when he says some of our doctrines come form Mr Johannes Greber or other pagan and or occult sources. NONE of the doctrines he lists come form him. ALL of our doctrines (as he listed) ARE in the Bible

(The only exception is point 8 where we have had a change in thinking)

Is it wrong to have a change in thinking. No even the Bible shws changes in teachings of the first century christians for more information just ask

if he was to have a debate any of those doctrines with a JW (me) ALL his answers would be proved false and all our answers would be found in the Bible.

You must understand that the JW have no theological trainning and are uneducated in the matters of world religions or Pagan history. Most of what they claim is Pagan is not and they will go to great links to connect unrelated pagan practices to Christian practices. They even go so far as to try and rewrite history to make other Christian practices look pagan.

Charles Russell the first president of the cult incorporated pagan practices into the cult and he himself got many of his theogies from pagan sources. Some JW will try to excuse their founder, by admitting that he did have some strange doctrines in the beginning, but that the light has grown “brighter and brighter”. However, history proves that the Society has consistently used pagan, occult sources to support their doctrines and teachings.

Some of the cults doctrines come from Johannes Greber a defrocked Catholic Priest who received his so-called “translation” of the bible through spiritistic means, usually in trances. in 1961 The Watchtower quoted him as an authority for their New World Translation, since he was a supporter of their doctrine.

Here are some JW doctrines received directly from the demons by Johannes Greber, as itemized in his book “Communication with the Spirit World of God”.

1. Jesus Christ is Not God. (CSW p.330; J.W. “The Word–Who is He? p. 40).

2. Jehovah only is God –the Father (CSW p.302, 331, 328,333): J.W. – “Jehovah” p.8)

3. Jesus Christ is a created being. (CSWp.301: J.W.- “Aid to Bible Understanding” p. 918).

4. Michael is a god. (Dictionary of Angels): J.W.- ” Aid to Bible Understanding” p. 1152).

5. Christ’s body was not resurrected. (CSW p. 385: J.W. “Things in which It is Impossible For God to Lie” p. 355).

6. Body of Jesus was dematerialized. (CSW p. 385: J.W. “Time Is At Hand” p. 129).

7. There is no Eternal Hell. (CSW 379: J.W. “Is This Life All There Is?” p. 96).

8. The Higher Powers of Romans 13 are not earthly governments. (CSW p. 414, 415: J.W. – “The Watchtower” 1/15/46 p. 27).

9. The Christian Church is not preaching the Gospel. (CSW p. 426: J.W. -” Finished Mystery” p. 485).

Johannes Greber did not like any of the existing translations of the Bible and stated “…I have used the text as it was given to me by those spirits.” (The New Testament by Johannes Greber p. 15).

God Bless!

No since most of Christianity is basically ripped off from the older Pagan religions.

Yes. You are speaking the truth. We ignore all pagan doctrines from Satan — such as the cross of Christ and the trinity. It is so true to say that we are the only true worshipers of Jehovah and the only ones with any hope of living forever in paradise earth.

Hi,

Yes, you have it right.
Jehovah’s Witnesses omit all the pagan traditions that have crept into ‘Christianity’ Everything we believe is in the Bible

Everything that Jehovah’s Witnesses believe comes from the Bible, either in principle or directly. There is only one annual event that we observe collectively and that, too, is in the Bible. Jesus told his disciples to “keep doing this in remembrance of me.” (Lu 22:19). If you like to know more about what JW believe and why, I urge you to visit the link provided below. This is designed to answer many questions you may have about us. There is also a copy of the Bible available on this site for your convenience.

Everything they believe is in “their” bible but nobody elses. They are polytheist and believe there is more than 1 God. They do not believe Jesus is divine.

Their bible is false and altered.
