Thoughts on God and Jesus?

First and foremost, I would like to advise you to read this with an open mind and an open heart. I will too acknowledge what you have said to help me in my spiritual journey. I do understand that religion can be a controversial subject, none the less I am here to further my understanding of religion and God, not to bring arguments. Thus I sincerely apologize if any thing said offends you.
I DO believe in god, but as for Jesus being the son and miracle of God, I disagree with. I believe that we are all children of god and are all loved equally, but to single out one human to be the best is false I believe. What I don’t understand is why people say you will go to “hell” if you don’t believe in Jesus. Personally I am more comfortable with praying to the source(GOD) rather then the middleman (Jesus).
As well, I am in awe that people are astonished by the fact that Jesus was proven to be divine because of the miracles he’s performed. All the while, mankind has documented traces of Jesus in Tibet to learn from the Buddhist monks. Buddhist monks, whom were trained in healing and the usage of chakra energy, could have well trained Jesus to heal people in miraculous ways never seen to the people of that area making his healing seem divine. I Just prefer bowing down and worshiping the one true king of the universe not his supposed son, because Jesus is not my king, God almighty is.
Ever wonder whom actually wrote the bible, it sure wasn’t Jesus. People wrote the bible, people, not Jesus. Jesus was accepted into the holy kingdom before the bible was written. Now who do I believe? A book that people wrote? How can I decipher between the story of what people say happened and what really happened. All through history mankind idolized people, gods, what makes this case different? I guess it comes down to whatever you believe though. I Stated my thoughts clearly, now whats yours?
I appreciate the comments on your hasteyness to convert me, with all do respect I didn’t come to be told to convert, I would also like to add everyone is telling me that Jesus is god in flesh, now is this because he is the decendent of God, if Jesus had a child would the child be considered god as well? Again I am not here to argue, I come with peace and love in my heart. God has helped me in so many ways, but I bow to him only and no mortal human. I have read the bible so I’m not coming without a good foundation on what the bible brings. I do believe that God can make divine things happen, obviously we are on earth, we can’t look unto the face of God without dieing right?, and are we not made in the image of god himself, hmmm I wonder why I can’t look at my face without dieing?
I am sorry if i was unclear so to clear things up.
I do believe in Jesus as a person, I do not believe he was divine or a pathway to God. I personally don’t need some man to deliver my prayers I can pray to god directly. I think of it this way. Why talk to the receptionist when I can just talk to the boss?
This is what i have precieved, correct me if im mistaken. I did understand the preception that the trinity was all the same person but now my understanding has become clearer. to all people that were aggresive, id like to wish you a peaceful future with many opportunities, thank you so much for your input. If we are to talk about god make it peaceful,. he deserves it.
I’m not here for you to criticize me on how much i don’t know, obviously I’m here to gain knowledge about god. If you don’t have something nice to say don’t say it at all. thanks.

  1. Jesus is God, and Jesus loves you so very much! 😀
We’re all sinners. Only JESUS is acceptable payment for sins. All the good deeds in the world won’t pay for even one of a person’s sins.
Either Jesus pays for a person’s sins, or that person pays for their sins in eternal torment in hell. That is the choice before everyone.
The truth about Jesus is that the only way to be saved and to get into heaven and avoid being sent to eternal hell, is by believing in faith alone that Jesus, who is God, died for our sins on the cross as FULL PAYMENT for all our sins, and then Jesus rose from the dead (1 Corinthians 15:1-4). Believe this and you will be in heaven, no matter what! Salvation is a FREE GIFT that happens in a split second when you believe in Jesus! It is impossible to lose or “leave” salvation (John 6:39-40, 1 John 5:13).
Please pray now: “Jesus, please forgive me of my sins. I believe that You died on the cross for my sins and You rose from the dead. Thank You for eternal life!” You will be in heaven with Him forever when you die. 🙂

  2. Jesus is God.
Please take some time to learn about Him…He loves you.
Read about a boy named Mephibosheth.

  3. your own opinions arent valid since they disagree with Gods laws etc…JESUS DID WRITE It….He inspired it and they wrote it down….the trinity is the only true God…We should believe…im born again 32 yrs. This isnt a courtroom. If you seek Him, He can help you…pray for salvation..

  4. I have the same question….When I did ask that question I was told Jesus is God in human form. So I that made me more confused…..but let me know if you start to understand it more because I would like to as well.

  5. Jesus Christ is God in the flesh. I do not know what you base all your knowledge on, what a gut feeling? Christians base their faith on the Word of God. Have you ever sincerely studied the Bible? No one can make you believe in Jesus except the Holy Spirit.

  6. jesus is God he said he was
the bible was written by men but they were told by God what to write.
Jesus said no one comes to the father except by him. Jesus also said his death on the cross and his resurrection gives people eternal life when they call on him to be saved.
Jesus never went to Tibet to learn from the Buddhist monks, that is a false teaching.
The holy spirit of God confirms every things

  7. You show much confusion. Without the word of God the Bible how would you believe that Jesus existed? If you believe this part of the Bible why are you picking and choosing and what makes one part true and another part a lie? If you believe in Jesus Christ then obviously you should believe his words Jesus said he was the Son of God and that he and the Father are one and that you should worship only God and then Jesus accepted worship. Jesus clearly taught he is the Son of God who atoned for sin.
God is a righteous God and is not joined to sin.
When man sinned he separated himself form God and this separation form the Creator is death.
This is the reason the Son became flesh to overcome temptation, sin and death as a man under law.
Jesus paid the penalty of sin with his righteous flesh and it is through his atonement we can be joined to God through his righteousness. When you accept the atonement you will receive the Holy Spirit that will lead you in truth that is greater than your flesh and blood understanding.
God is a eternal spirit and his truth is revealed through the spirit.
    John 3:
5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
Edit Again had you believed the word of God you would know the Word who is Christ is not the receptionist but is God with us. How is it you claim to believe in Jesus Christ or the Bible and do not believe the word of God?

  8. First of all, Jesus IS God in the form of a man. Not just a singled out human being. I know who wrote the Bible. If you were to actually read the new testament it is a comilation of letters written by the apostles, some who were with Jesus while he was alive and a few who converted after his death. Most of the New Testament was written by the apostle Paul, who once persecuted christians and killed them, until he had a visitation from Jesus and he changed his life and converted many others to christianity. Before you start to question something, maybe you should read it first instead of making assumptions about it. Instead of sounding like a well-read intelligent person you came off rather ignorant of the facts.
And Jesus while he was alive never made it to Tibet.

  9. actually…. you do know that Jesus, God, and the Holy Spirit is considered all one person. I like how you put Jesus as the “Middle Man” but he is not considered human per say, he is god, just in the flesh.. anyway… I believe that religion in general is false. It writes one thing, and it teaches another. I seriously believe that christianity is copied from several different religions in and around the mediterrianan (srry for the spelling) and that it has been contorted from a very meaning and beautiful thing to a modern hypocrisy. The teachings of the catholic church that most people will never receive for example, teach that the bible is not true in science, history, and in some sociology. However, current churches have used it for their own gain to please political views taht most congregants have. but anyway thats my view so yea XD

  10. I don’t know how much I believe the Bible but I studied it for many years. Here is the wierd part. The Bible says that God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are one. Pretty much like a person can be a daughter, sister, wife and mother all at the same time. And a son can be in a sense the same as his father. Here is an earthly example. Before my son was born he was part of me and was carried in my sperm. So my son and I am so to speak the same person. The Bible says that God wanted to take out his punishment of people on himself. So he sent his Son. It also says that Jesus was God in the flesh. In other words God in a man’s suit. People think that because the Bible says that God created man in his image that God has arms, legs etc. But from what I studied I think that it means that God made man in the same likeness of soul. A soul with love, compassion, tender hearted, forgiving etc. Have you ever seen an innocent baby that did not share things, forgive people etc. Babies I believe are an image of God. It is not until the world has done them wrong that they really become deceitful, hateful and uncompassionate greedy people. So if God created people in his image then he when he came to the earth he had to take on their physical image so that he could be recognized by them. Oh and by the way, the Bible says that when Jesus died he did not use any of his power to lessen the pain or to give him strength. He endured everything as a man for mankind. This is why he is so revered by the people. According to the Bible the reason that people who do not accept Jesus go to hell is because a way out was provided and rejected. I hope you find what you are looking for.

  11. Jesus is not the son of God. He was, obviously enough, the son of Mary. The Qur’an verses regarding Jesus (peace be upon him are quoted below:
That is Jesus, son of Mary, in word of truth, concerning which they are doubting. It is not for God to take a son unto Him. Glory be to Him! When He decrees a thing. He but says to it “Be”. and it is. (19:34-5)
After this strong statement about the nature of Jesus, God directed Muhammad to call the Christians to a fair deal: to worship the one God:
Surely God is my Lord, and your Lord, so serve Him. This is the straight path. (19:38).
The rejection of the idea of God having a son is reported later in the same chapter with even stronger words:
And they say, ‘The All-merciful has taken unto Himself a son.’ You have indeed advanced something hideous. The heavens are well nigh rent of it and the earth split asunder, and the mountains well nigh fall down crashing for that they have attributed to the All-merciful a son; and it behooves not the All-merciful to take a son. None is there in the heavens and earth but he comes to the All-merciful as a servant. (19:88-93)
The Qur’an recognizes the fact that Jesus had no human father but this does not make him the son of God or God Himself. By this criterion Adam would have been more entitled to be the son of God because he had neither a father nor a mother. So the Qur’an draws attention to the miraculous creation of both in the following verse:
Truly the likeness of Jesus, in God’s sight, is as Adam’s likeness; He created him of dust. then said He unto him, “Be”, and he was. (3:59)
The Qur’an rejects the concept of the Trinity as strongly as it rejects the Sonship of Jesus. This is because God is One. This is the essence of all monotheistic revelations. Three, by reason and by simple arithmetic, are not one. The Qur’an addresses the Christians in the following verses in the chapter entitled “Women”.
People of the Book, go not beyond the bounds in your religion, and say not as to God but the Truth. The Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, was only the Messenger of God, and His Word that He committed to Mary, and a spirit from Him. So believe in God and His Messengers, and say not, ‘Three’. Refrain. better is it for you. God is only One God. Glory be to Him – that He should have a son! To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and in the earth, God suffices for a guardian.
The Messiah will not disdain to be a servant of God, neither the angels who are close to Him. Whosoever disdains to serve Him and waxes proud. He will assuredly muster them to Him, all of them.
The denial of Jesus’ divinity (and for that matter Mary’s divinity) is presented in the Qur’an as a topic of dialogue at the Day of Judgement between God Almighty and Jesus. All the messengers and the nations will be gathered in front of God and He will ask the messengers how they were received by their peoples and what they said to them. Among those who are going to be questioned is Jesus:
And when God said, ‘O Jesus son of Mary, did you say unto men, “Take me and my mother as gods. apart from God?” He said, ‘To you be glory! It is not mine to say what I have no right to. If I indeed said it, you knew it, knowing what is within my soul, and I do not know what is within your soul. you know the things unseen. I only said to them what you did command me: “serve God, my Lord and your Lord.” And I was a witness over them, while I remained among them; but when you did take me to yourself, you were yourself the watcher over them; you are the witness of everything. If you punish them, they are your servants, if you forgive them, you are the Almighty, the All-wise.’
Bible was written several years after the death of Jesus (pbuh) by his disciplines.
Jesus (pbuh) was bestowed with unnatural powers such as raising the dead to life, healing the sick etc.
And will make him [(‘ÃŽsa (Jesus)] a Messenger to the Children of Israel (saying): “I have come to you with a sign from your Lord, that I design for you out of clay, a figure like that of a bird, and breathe into it, and it becomes a bird by Allah’s Leave; and I heal him who was born blind, and the leper, and I bring the dead to life by Allah’s Leave. And I inform you of what you eat, and what you store in your houses. Surely, therein is a sign for you, if you believe.
    ( سورة آل عمران , Aal-e-Imran, Chapter 3, Verse 49)
