When I used to be a hard drinker (and I mean hard), it would absolutely freak me out to get totally trashed and wake-up two counties over and not know where I was at, how I got there, or how to get home.
Then there was the little thing about checking the front of the car – for blood.
Human blood.

I woke up at about 3AM in my sleeping bag on a camping trip, no tent, when my buddy was whispering “don’t move a muscle” over and over. There was a full grown California brown bear sniffing my breath as I slept… just inches from my face.
When my breathing changed (because I was awake) he back off slowly and went through all our stuff tearing it to shreds looking for food.

Graham Hancock : The War on Consciousness – Banned Ted Talk

This Banned Ted Talk Questions something that is greatly feared by mainstream medicine and science community. Graham Hancock brings light to the war on consciousness that exists in our modern society, especially in the western world. He makes the argument that modern society does not allow us to truly explore our consciousness by making various psychedelic drugs illegal while we are instead fed pharmaceutical drugs that have negative effects on health. He points out the fact that this does not allow us to have true freedom and that exploring our consciousness may very well be a crucial step in changes we must make on the planet if we are to find a way to survive as a species.
