Spiritually Speaking, should the internet be thought of as an extension of ones own consciousness?

  1. If you’re going to call the Internet an extension of ones own consciousness, then you’d might as well call all the cars, computers, circuits, buildings, spaceships, stories, television, toothpaste, businesses, and others extensions of consciousness. The consciousness naturally already has existing extensions in their own right.

  2. I don’t know, but it seems to be a big dumping ground for some !!!
John 10:25 Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father’s name, they bear witness of me.
John 10:26 But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.
John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
John 10:28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

John 10:30 I and my Father are one.
John 10:31 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.
John 10:32 Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?
John 10:33 The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makes thyself God

Internet can not be considered as an extension of consciousness, because it is totally controllable and have no emotions or feelings of it’s own,
though it may be considered as an extension of ones own as well as of collective conscious and the subconscious mind.
I think, your avtar and identity on internet is totally controllable.
