Body language is a form of non-verbal communication, which consists of body posture, gestures, facial expressions, and eye movements. Humans send and interpret such signals almost entirely subconsciously.

John Borg attests that human communication consists of 93 percent body language and paralinguistic cues, while only 7% of communication consists of words themselves;[1] however, Albert Mehrabian, the researcher whose 1960s work is the source of these statistics, has stated that this is a misunderstanding of the findings (see Misinterpretation of Mehrabian’s rule). Others assert that “Research has suggested that between 60 and 70 percent of all meaning is derived from nonverbal behavior.”

Body language may provide clues as to the attitude or state of mind of a person. For example, it may indicate aggression, attentiveness, boredom, relaxed state, pleasure, amusement, and intoxication, among many other cues.

Delve into the science of non-verbal signals as this very visual and highly entertaining expose reveals the hidden language in which 93% of human communication takes place.

From President Franklin D. Roosevelt, to British Prime Minister Winston Churchill and 2008 presidential hopefuls Senators Barack Obama and John McCain, see how both politicians and celebrities use the subtle movements of body language to persuade masses, establish power, and advance careers.

  • The way it should be done is to show these so called experts random clips of people and perhaps mute out the content, then have these experts comment on the body language.

Using obvious and important historical events means they already knew the outcome and hence they would comment in the direction of that outcome.

  • These silly experts. It’s easy when you go back and look at an event when you know what the end results are. All you need to do is mix and match until your analysis fits. Everyone has quirks, mannerisms and behaviours. But good for these experts to have found a nice cottage industry and to make a nice living at it.

  • It shows that people care more about how a president looks and acts, instead of the actual issues, and what they stand for….

  • So the whole show lead up to an infomercial for some crack-pot technology. They said the polygraph was as good as gold at one time, total bs. I have serious anxiety in social situations and generally and if I were accused of something serious, even if I knew it was false, I’d be afraid of being framed or who knows what. Oswald may have been involved, maybe even with full knowledge rather than just a pasty, but he was not the killer, the shot was impossible; the machine can’t change physics.

  • I feel like an idiot after watching this, i didnt learn anything except “body language means something.” Where do you go with that? Anyway Hillarys performance is overacted, its all body language and no substance. Comes with taking the coaches advice too seriously i suppose.

  • SIGNS OF JESUS COMING:DAMASCUS,SYRIA-WILL BE DESTROYED(ISAIAH 17:1),WARS-IRAN’PERSIA'(EZE.38-39,PSALMS 83),EARTHQUAKES(MATT.24).RAPTURE (1THESS.4:17)NEXT!FOR THE HOLY ONES.REPENT!READ THE BIBLE!BILLIONS OF SOULS ARE IN HELL,MOST OF THEM THOUGHT THEY’RE GOING TO HEAVEN!IF JESUS(GOD)IS THE ONLY OMNIPRESENT WHO’S IN HEAVEN & ON EARTH,OTHER HOLY NAMES ARE IN HEAVEN NOT ON EARTH THEN WHY DO YOU PRAY TO OTHERS WHO WON’T BE ABLE TO HEAR YOU?(JOHN 14:26)..ONLY THE HOLY SPIRIT(GOD) CAN HEAR UR PRAYERS.

  • in principle body language is very useful and simply reveals things. But one has to be careful not to exaggerate, many things can mean anything, depending on the circumstances. Here the part about Clinton is completely bull, for instance, not enough space here to correct. Polygraph is a dangerous instrument and can mislead totally, arousement can have many reasons also, electrical activity alone says nothing

  • While I can understand why some people are skeptical, just take a look at nature. Animals communicate with their own body language – whether it’s a wolf submitting to the alpha, Bighorn sheep getting ready to charge, etc. How do *you* know when a dog is friendly? How do you know when it’s not? How about a cobra? The study of body language is legitimate, and most of us will never get to the level of the presenters. But maybe good enough to vote correctly next election :-).

  • trying to reconvict oswald on this software is proof its BS,, and will be used for manipulative purposes when required..
