The Interpretation of Dreams by Sigmund Freud.
This is just a general introduction to dreams. Astral projection is not specifically mentioned, but astral projection is just a different type of dream – it is not an entirely separate phenomena.
This also provides interesting background information for the “unconscious” and “subconscious” and it is more valid than most ‘New Age’ books on the market even though it was first published in 1899.

My brother has been obsessed with astral projection for 5 years.
He’s a weirdo– he doesn’t work– his whole ambition in life is to astral project.
He hasn’t been able to do it in 5 years, so my understanding is that it’s really hard to do.
And he fasts for weeks without food in order to purify his body to astral project……….. seriously, if you find a way to do it then you should definitely spread the word because that is no easy feat to do.
Personally, I think it’s a waste of time….. but whatever makes you happy, right?

The meatiest technical book out there is “Astral Dynamics” by Robert Bruce. Here’s the sort of content you’ll find in it:
Despite containing little in the way of technique, Robert Monroe’s books are also pretty much essential reading to show how far you can take projection. “Journeys out of the Body” isn’t that special nowadays, but “Far Journeys” and “Ultimate Journey” take you way off the map…highly recommended! If you hoover these up and still want more, Bruce Moen series of books is an excellent way to continue.

Get astral dynamics by robert bruce, its a great book

This Banned Ted Talk Questions something that is greatly feared by mainstream medicine and science community. Graham Hancock brings light to the war on consciousness that exists in our modern society, especially in the western world. He makes the argument that modern society does not allow us to truly explore our consciousness by making various psychedelic drugs illegal while we are instead fed pharmaceutical drugs that have negative effects on health. He points out the fact that this does not allow us to have true freedom and that exploring our consciousness may very well be a crucial step in changes we must make on the planet if we are to find a way to survive as a species.
