Question for knowlegeable on Reincarnation?

I’ve read those who believe in reincarnation either believe pages from New Testament were removed around 525ish and OR were never in there as it was a common belief. Which do you feel it is? Additionally, what do reincarnationists most commonly believe the role of Jesus Christ was and is? Thanks in advance for your replies and information.

The Bible tells us that it is appointed for man once to die then comes the judgment.

I notice you are already getting answers from non-believers. The Bible was scrubbed of all references to reincarnation for how can you have power over people that don’t live in fear!
Jesus the Christ was trying to show us the next phase of our evolution, should we choose it.

Not a word of the New Testament has been changed, removed or added since the 73 divinely inspired books of the Canon of Christian Scripture were finalized once and for all time by the bishops of the Catholic Church in 397 AD.

I think it was Constantine that took it out of the bible ..so he could control the people with the fear of hell.
and some believe that Jesus was Enoch and Melchizedek

Reincarnation is one subject the Catholic Church did not want their congregation to know about.
That is why in the Fifth Century, the Six Ecumenical Council of the Catholic Church removed those books from the bible.
Of course, those who seek the truth can order the “Lost Books of the Bible” on Amazon.com.
Personally, I believe Christ’s role was that of a transendental prophet.

the Egyptians believed in such an idea-ankh symbol but I say not so, it would be nice, I mean if life bites you just end it all and you take it easy till you get a second change to come back as a ———– (fill in the blank) some feel they come back as an animal–so they never hurt an animal not that one should but they feel if they kick a dog they come back as one, some believe they come back as another person “I used to be a king in another life now I am a 500 year old warrior.” some believe they have relatives in rats, and other such ideas.
the idea that some pages were removed 1Cor.2:9-13, 2Peter 1:21, Rev. 22:18-19 would be disallowed by these verses

Just as the early Christian church changed OT verses to fit their doctrines (for example, substituting “hell” for the word meaning “grave” — Jews don’t believe in hell), bible references to reincarnation were retranslated and altered, and some removed altogether. The Roman emperor Constantine is largely responsible for revamping this small Jewish sect into a powerful, political, war-mongering authority which would become known as the “Christian” church.
Look at this simple and direct message from Jesus: “Truly, literally, you must be born again.” After which he clarified, “No man goes to heaven but he who came down from heaven.” Jesus spoke of being born of the spirit, meaning that the essence (soul) of the individual is reborn in a new body (born of water, a reference to physical birth). It’s there in plain words, but Constantine, in his greed to establish an absolute authority between man and God, deliberately edited Jesus’ words to some nonsense meaning.
Jesus didn’t bring reincarnation into Judaism. It was already there. Judaism has always acknowledged the concept since its beginning and has bible references to show it: Job 33:29 is but one example. Another is Psalms 90:3-6: Thou turnest man back to the dust, and sayest, “Turn back, O children of men!” For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, or as a watch in the night. Thou dost sweep men away; they are like a dream, like grass which is renewed in the morning: in the morning it flourishes and is renewed; in the evening it fades and withers. So teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom.
“Who sinned, THIS MAN or his parents, that he was BORN BLIND?” asked of Jesus by his apostles is a clear indication that past-life karma was simply accepted in his circle (being Jews, they believed in reincarnation). According to the bible Jesus’ answer was that the man was born blind so that he could be healed by him.It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that this answer applied to only this particular blind man whose path crossed that of Jesus.
Nor does it take a genius to figure out that it takes more than one, two or three lifetimes to achieve the state of perfection Jesus spoke of. “Be ye therefore perfect even as your father in heaven is perfect,” Jesus instructed his followers. Perfect, he said. Whether it’s translated by modern Christians as “perfect” or “complete” (without room for improvement”) the word still means PERFECT.
And he didn’t say ‘hey, I know you’re a sinner but just do your best,’ or ‘if you just believe I came and died, that’s enough.’ He said BE AS PERFECT AS GOD IS.
Jesus indicated, according to the bible, that absolute perfection is within the reach of every human when he made the statement, YE ARE GODS.
Who was Jesus? According to some Christian-Reincarnationists, Jesus was the first human being to achieve absolute perfection. He was, according to them, Adam, the first man. Several lifetimes later he achieved a state of perfection on Earth (according to them) and returned to teach others how to follow his way toward divine perfection (to become Godlike). This was misunderstood as his being a special demigod who was to be worshiped rather than emulated. It’s easy to see how ignorant people would misinterpret his message, and ruthless greedy authorities like Constantine would distort and exploit it.
1 Corinthians 15:45, in a reference from Paul about Jesus:
“And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.”
