Question about scrying with a crystal ball?

I noticed everyone says not to scry for more than 20 minutes at a time, but what will happen if you do? And is divinating and using magic too much really bad for your body?
Yeah I noticed if I scry to look or put to much energy into a certain series of spells for a particular purpose I get very tired.
not scry to look I meant scry too much

  1. Your eyes will just become strained and you won’t accomplish anything if you scry longer than 20 mins. Working while tired is never a good thing.

  2. The difficulty with scrying is the amount of energy and concentration needed to hold the vision. Gradually increase the time spent and you will find as you become more proficient you will use less energy, get results quicker and generally feel less tired. With regard to magic being bad for your body, everything has a price, selfish magic and spells can take a big toll on the practicer and sometimes the price is too high, but helping others can be very rewarding.

  3. If you listen to everything that someone tells you, you’ll end up with your mind full of nonsense. There is no such thing as any form of magic, or scrying, or any form of divination that actually foretells the future. They’re just superstitions.

  4. I’ve never heard of having not scry more than 20 minutes, in fact I was taught by my HPs that the longer you can keep the visualization and concentration on the subject the better you get at divining. I wouldn’t go for much longer than 30-60 minutes though, that would get very tiresome.
I suppose the only way it could be bad for you is how much energy that it takes to cast a spell or more than one spell, it might just make you really spiritually and emotionally exhausted.
