Psychiatry An industry of Death

Psychiatry: An Industry of Death is a controversial documentary on the horrors of psychiatry, of punishing and persecuting of the innocent and promoting Fascism, racism and atheism.

It was the foundation for the Holocaust, apartheid, for Jim Crow and for Communism. It has lead to many deaths. It denies God, the giver of life and freedom. It stands against the values of freedom, life, liberty and dignity.

There have been allegations that this is a Scientology propaganda film. Although the church of Scientology has had influence on the production of this film, the evil inherant in psychiatry should be of great concern to all people of all faiths especially Christians and Jews.

Psychiatrists in Nazi Germany basically branded innocent people as mentally ill including Jews. The concentration camps of Auschwitz and elsewhere were nothing more than psychiatric hospitals for those the Nazi State deemed mentally unfit. IE: Jews Gypsies, Christians, Dissidents, ETC.

I don’t know anything about scientology (too pop culture for me to have taken notice) However, I was in foster care and was forced onto medication, as were all the other kids I encountered also in fostercare/group homes. I have been pronouncing the evils of psychiatry for years. Thank you so much for posting this. I am trying to raise awareness about CPS abuse by posting a testimonials page. Please post any tesimonials here: pastebin.com/u/RozlinDraven

That is anecdotal, perhaps even an example of the post hoc ergo propter hoc fallacy. Either which way, studies that look at the outcomes for medicated patients, compared to non-medicated, has exploded the myth that these drugs work in the aggregate. Longitudinal studies have shown that medictaed patients are far less likely to be able to function socially than medicated, generally. Also, at the moment, it is thought that on average, antipsychotics are taking decades off people’s…

@dylanburkey… lives. Then you have the tardive psychosis indicated in long-term usage with both atypical and typicals, the metabolic illness, the gradual cognitive deterioration resulting from the shrinkage of the cerebral cortex, the galloping weightgain, psychomotor retardation, intense tiredness etc etc. Your arguments seem like a throwback to the nascent stages of atypical usage.

The entire video is biased? Most of the people in this video are not scientologists, especially Robert Whitaker, and Thomas Szasz has done more than anyone in history to fight for the constitutional rights of the person so labelled ‘mentally ill’. I am no scientologist, and I think the way in which the doc is made is almost an insult to such an important issue, but much of it is true nevertheless, just that the form is embarrassing, lamentably.

Well, overall the video made sense to me. The elderly, sick and kids are always prone to be abused, but I don’t think ALL psychiatrists are like that. When I was about 15 I tried some drugs (Mandrax and weed) about 3 times, that with depression and hormonal changes that teens go through I became depressed and suicidal, ran away from home (no abuse there or anything). Took a cocktail of drugs for a year from a Psychiatrist, and saw Psychologists – 2 years later I was “normal” again.

Maybe you were cured because you stopped doing the other things that started the problem to begin with??

Good point, I never thought of that. 😮 That’s a very real possibility, but the year of Psychiatric drugs didn’t seem to do any harm (physically or mentally) unless I was just one of the “lucky” ones.

Placebos have cured things, Im not joking. Having a strong mind and will is important.

Fair enough – I’ve read about the beneficial effects of Placebos, it’s quite fascinating actually.

Allow me a few words here if you please. I am not a medical professional nor a Scientologist. I am a patient that has been on psychiatric meds for seventeen years treated on an outpatient basis. Various group therapies have failed as well as talk therapy. Many changes in medication have failed as well. I feel worse than when I first began treatment. The many side effects of all the pills sadly, are physically showing. My doctor says that I’m permanently disabled. Now THAT’S depression.

I stumbled onto the fact that you can give yourself ECT through biphasic sleep and UVB exposure from high pressure quartz lights (high end tanning bed).

@LauraHarrison I feel the same way and I am also on medication, but the problem is no one will ever believe us because they think we’re “part of the system”. People don’t trust each other anymore so they rely on experience only.

Laura; Every word you have said here is me exactly; even the 17 years on the heavy meds are correct!! I can’t even hold a lot in my mind very long; or even remember what I’m doing most of the time. Nightmares so bad that I stay up all night every night….sleep during the day only in short periods; As of Sat. I plan to QUIT all meds cold Turkey! I want my Life Back!

Well, I’m no doctor but I can say that if you do go cold turkey off all of your meds one of two things will happen: either you’ll die without physician monitoring, or pending the number and type of meds you take they’ll put you in your local psych hosp. in a lock-down room. If you want to come off your meds do it gradually. Don’t be another statistic.
