Pagans: How can I incorporate magick into my daily life?

I’ve felt a bit disconnected lately, and I don’t just want ideas for spells. Something simple, but magickal that I can work into my daily practise. I want to be reminded of Mother Earth and her beauty always. Any ideas? If it helps, I got lots of candles lately, so you could work them into some kind of meditation or excercise, if you want to….Thanks for your time,

P.S. Serious answers only, thanks.

I hand crystals in my windows, the reflect out negative energy and draw in the positive, but also bring about a beautiful display of colour across my walls. I burn candles in the evening, staring into them, I find it helps me focus when preparing to meditate. Or I use crystals, clear quartz pyrimids or sphere, these often help with meditation when forcusing on the imperfections. I cultivate a herb garden, and help maintain the rest of the garden as well. I also burn my own and shop brought incense and oils. There are all sorts of ways you can… Read more »

I’d just make myself a little altar somewhere with objects that represent the four elements. Look at it several times a day and reflect on the beauty of the Earth.

Garden. Talk to your plants. If your like a poster i read about lately who has a black thumb, talk to the stones. Take walks.

Read and take time for yourself. When I feel disconnected it has been because of stress.

There is no such thing as real magic, unless you’re good at fooling yourself. Drop all superstitions, and enjoy life.

I don’t. I rarely ever use magick in any way because of the possible consequences. I only use magick in desperate situations. I highly discourage its use in any other circumstance because you could accidentally hurt someone.

Greetings and Blessed Be!

This is the tiny ritual I do each morning before I go to work.

I rise each morning thanking Hecate for another day to serve her.
I shower, and then before I dress, I put on my Hecate Pentagram pendant and kiss it. Then I put on my special jet bracelet I made for myself that is just another visual reminder of Hecate being with me throughout the day.
Then I get dressed and go out into the world, blessed and confident and feeling protected and loved by my Goddess!

“Magick is the science and art of causing change to occur in conformity with the Will.” – Aleister Crowley. In other words, every intentional act is a “magick” act. You can’t help but do magick whenever you do anything; the only question is whether you do it well or not. Magick is simply a term for the practical management of life. You figure out what your Will is, and then you figure out how best to apply it to your circumstances. There are no rough and ready rules for this. “Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the… Read more »

pick a favorite outdoor spot, memorize it and go there in your mind whenever you can–I do it all the time, at work, while driving–I’m always connected

I know with the busy schedules we seem to keep, it gets harder and harder to do this, but one thing I do every day (the time changes due to whats going on but at least once a day) I go outside, take my shoes and socks off and stand in the grass. I feel the pulse of the earth and use it as a grounding for me. It doesn’t take long and is very relaxing. Try sometime.

You could start by taking a shower every morning.

Every time you notice an aspect of Nature in your daily routine, thank the spirit of the element. In this way you can be constantly attuned to Magick around you and keep the “flow” open.

Just Be.
If you know your true will, every intentional action is magick, by definition.

Or did you mean magic?

When you are experiancing a dull moment, go out in your backyard or a park, and climb a tree. If you’re not comfortable with heights just hug a tree. It’s a great way to remind yourself of the magick of nature.

I could give you a spell, or chant, or something like that, but if you’re feeling disconnected I’m thinking the best thing to do is GO OUTSIDE! Simple? Yep. Go outside and pull weeds, play with your dog, climb a tree. Listen, watch, absorb, attune. Good luck!

I incorporate it into just random things in the day. Cooking, meditation, even just taking a minute to soak in the air.
The best thing I do every day is meditate in circle at night. Sometimes something big come from it, sometimes its just random thoughts flying around in my head. I always try to notice one thing. Like the way the sky looks after the rain or something. Not just in passing, but really notice it. My biggest, cheapest, easiest thing is mediation though.
