OSHO: Society and You – From Series A Buddha Will Be Misunderstood

“Your society teaches you to be blind because the society needs blind people. They are good slaves because they are always dependent on the leaders, politicians, pundits, priests. They are very convenient people, they never create any trouble. They are never rebels. They are obedient, always ready to submit to any kind of nonsense, to any stupid politician, to any stupid priest.”

this guy always talks about freedom… there is a tiny limit between freedom and anarchy, be on the side of the law or to promote social order is not to be BLIND or Stupid, i repect his mind, and his own motivations, but do not agree with his preaching,

human law is not flawless. Social order is not flawless either. We are pretty much stuck in the social settings generations after generations. But, If you do not have “love”, whatever social order you promote will be a waste of time. So, search for true “love” within you. Maybe you’ll understand it some day and be liberated within moments.

@mobed2: Society strives to create order in this chaotic world. There is nothing wrong with that, but in the process, it attempts to do this by controlling and subjugating people, thus hampering their free will and causing endless misery. In my opinion, we must strive to live within the society, but not as part of it. We should defiantly maintain our own rugged individualistic self and resist the sheep mentality.

Like Buddha,Osho is also misunderstood, because he operates from the other side of mind.

As how Osho said “there are many categories between God and humans”, so are many between Buddha and common people”.
