Meditators: What do you personally get out of meditation? Do you need scientific research as validation?

I am doing a research paper on meditators and why they meditate. I am wondering what meditators get out of meditation and whether they need science to prove meditation’s benefits in order to validate their practice.

  • It lowers my blood pressure when I do it routinely and keep to dayly schedual. It also helps me to relax quicker to enable to go to sleep better. I feel much more refreshed when I keep to a routine of meditation in my life.

  • If you would like an answer, I would recommend for you to commit to sit, do meditation yourself. The answer will come to you.

  • You shouldn’t need science to validate meditation if you’re doing it properly. You will notice the difference in how you feel in your mind and body.
