In my tradition, yes. I personally believe that some parts of our soul are reincarnated, others go onto an various “heavens,” depending on how you lived, how you died, and whatnot.
if you believe in the soul then you have total conservation of life for that soul is the life of each one of us, so why fear death as such, since you and i have died so ,many times and yet we are not permitted to recall each life until it proves to be of value to our own spiritual progress, but for most of us that time is way off. at death the soul goes back to its own plane, as does the astral/emotional body and also the mental body. these bodies decay at various rates but that is too heavy for now. all is of God.
