Also, I have heard that you gain weight once you stop exercising. Is it true in case of Yoga and Cardio?

  • Cardio exercise burns calories ONLY during the exercise. Be sure to incorporate resistance training as well. I suggest joining a fitness boot camp program… or performing a similar type of workout that will burn a lot of calories during the workout and keep burning calories after the workout is complete as you rebuild muscle.

    To lose weight, you need to burn more calories than you consume. Start with a good exercise program and a healthy diet(moderation is the key… it’s ok to have a treat every so often, but be sure to eat healthy the majority of the time.

    Tips for a Healthy diet:

    -Eat a diet low in saturated fat
    -Keep simple carbohydrates to a minimum
    -Eat a low sodium diet
    -Eat plenty of green leafy vegetables
    -Drink at least 2-3 liters of water/day
    -Avoid fruit juice
    -Avoid sugary coffee drinks
    -Drink green tea instead of coffee
    -Eat at least 25 grams fiber/day

    2. Totally avoid caffine at least for the first two weeks on the program.

    3. Drink a MINIMUM of 8 glasses of plain water or seltzer daily.

    4. Don’t weigh yourself more than once a week

  • if u wanna lose weight… my dear start eating fruits for breakfast … adding soup to your everyday menu… eat what you want but half of what u ate before and low fat diet… and don’t eat anything between you main meals except water and fruit juice … just if you felt really hungry or you were period,eat what u want…. then 45 minutes walking everyday without stress… and don’t weigh yourself at all on scales… tell urself i do this for my health not to reach an exact number… do it and see the miracle!… plz
