is using chi or universal energy against the will of god? Or is it okay if its in agreement with his desire?

i wouldn’t really consider it sorcery but is there anything written on the subject? The followers of god all seem to have the same characteristics of people who have worked with that type of energy, like samson, moses, christ, etc.
what i mean is are they puppets or instruments?

  1. what is his desires ?
if you mean what is written in the bible … then if it doesnt glorify God then it is wrong , it may be seen as sorcery by some
I know many Christians think things like Reiki is wrong
however , I cant see why we would have this wonderful energy if it wasnt to be used

  2. Not necessarily. But most modern energy workers don’t understand that part of being made in God’s Image includes our inborn ability to tap into this energy. And that Satan has STOLEN this power and is trying to sell it back to us as ‘Reiki’ energy. The kundalini within us is OURS, not a foreign spirit.

  3. Any spirit that is not the Holy Spirit of God is evil. This universal energy you speak of, is it of Jesus Christ? I dont think so. The Bible is quite clear about this type of thing ….
There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: Deuteronomy 18:10-12
Stay clear of Chi, Yoga, or any other practice that Jesus is not the head of.

  4. The main thing that you need to ask yourself is “Does this Glorify God?”. Understand that the energy that you are talking about with Samson, Moses, Elisha, and the rest of the people in the Bible that did miraculous things, is the work of the Holy Spirit. Christ Jesus was God in the flesh. The simple fact of your question “are they puppets or instruments?” is this. These men and women that did these miraculous things were called by God and answered Gods call. He does not force anything on anyone, there is always a choice. When God ask whom shall I sent? The prophet Isaiah said “Here am I.” So to answer you they are willing vessels that God uses to full fill His plan and purpose.

  5. Watchman Nee or Witness Lee (Oriential Christian leaders) wrote specifically about this. Sorry, I don’t have a reference or recall what his conclusions were.
I beleive his writings are available through Living Stream Ministry located in Anaheim, California.
