Is this belief completely irrational?

The belief that auras (or energy given off by everyones spirits/souls) exist, and that certain people can take some of this energy for themselves? Not to the point of causing pain or even making anyone realize they’re taking energy. Some could possibly be taken from natures energy or excess energy. Nothing harmful or dramatic.
I find it no different than believing in the existence of a god– there’s no way to prove it, but people insist it is there.
What do you think?

  1. yes, it is irrational, as there is still no good reason to think it’s true.
and belief in god(s) is also irrational for the same reason.

  2. No it’s not, yes it is, no it’s not, yes it is!

:]] sorry, please ignore my insanity. Anywayyy.
I think it’s hard to rationalize any belief. Why do we believe what we do? What is love? What’s the purpose of life?
Some things the world may never know.
