Is the reincarnation possible?

I was reading few articles on it & saw that there are children who dreamed of their past lives & many other evidences like birth-marks, feelings, dreams or children etc.

Are these evidences really indicating the reincarnation?

Yes, reincarnation is possible. We are here for one thing, to learn kindness, compassion and unconditional love. Not just for our fellow humans but to care for this world and EVERYTHING that inhabits it. You can’t learn this in just one lifetime. Each time we are here we come to learn and to grow spiritually. In each lifetime we live, we choose who we are to be. Who our family is to be. What we look like what sex we will be so we can learn from each experience and how to deal with each situation we experience. If we… Read more »

Everyone has a different answer on this. I believe in reincarnation for a number of reasons, not just because of my MEMORIES from past lives. Not dreams, not hallucinations but real memories. Most references to reincarnation were left out of the bible because the early christian church needed people to believe they had to go through the church to be saved from eternal damnation. I could point out John 3. The entire chapter talks about rebirth, the references to Elijah in Matthew 11:14 are yet another place. Most Christians will argue those are not about reincarnation, but I believe they… Read more »

Those who have never dreamed would say there’s no such thing as a dream. You can’t hold it in your hands or put it in your pocket; you can’t show it to someone else and say ‘Here’s a dream I had.’ They who have never dreamed would say you’re deluded, or insane, or lying: “There’s no such thing as a dream,” they would tell you. “When you go to sleep, your body is numb and paralyzed: you can’t see or feel or hear anything – you’re just asleep.” Judaism has traditionally accepted reincarnation as fact: “Behold, all these things does… Read more »

No. Reincarnation does not happen.

Hebrews 9:27 And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment,

Yes it is a proven fact that you will be reincarnated as a grain of sand or just plain compost once you are placed into the ground via your coffin , and once you are cremated it will be called blood & bone.

I don’t think so.

The Bible speaks against it, for a start.

Even if the Bible said nothing, however, it still doesn’t make sense to me. Who would you actually be? My personality has been developed and moulded over the years, by all of my experiences, starting from before my birth. My soul is the deepest, most “me” part of me. Where would I go? Who would I be? Doesn’t make sense.

No, you only have 1 life, make the best of it by giving it to God.

Dreams usually are symbolic and not literal. They are subconscious and are not to be literally interpreted. Reincarnation is not possible scientifically. Your mind holds all of your memory. Your brain is created at birth from cells. Its possible it could be a small case of Multiple Personality Disorder?

Anyways your brain is created at birth, and your memories/past experiences/conscience die along with your body.

Maybe Steph or whatever her nick is spelled, hasn’t read much about other books and she’s blinded by the mistranslated compendium made by the catholics.

Actually in the books considered as “apocrypha” Jesus mentions the resurrection many times.

So, if you believe in Jesus it’s very probable…
If you don’t it’s very probable as well…

I guess it depends on what you think. I personally think that if there’s a lot of people who have experienced it that its evidence. As long as they’ve actually experienced it.

No. Reincarnation is certainly not possible. If I’ve understood it properly, both Hinduism & Buddhism [the two mysterious religions of east] repeatedly say that after reincarnation of a soul, it DOESN’T remember anything of its previous life. But as for these evidences given to support the POSSIBILITIES [possibilities because evidences DON’T conclusively PROVE reincarnation] of reincarnation, they claim to have REMEMBER their previous lives [or lives of other persons died long ago]. And most of these cases are based upon the dreams of little children & feelings of other people who think they’ve been reincarnated. The idea that “the marks… Read more »

Personal anecdotes are evidence since when? That may be fine during a trial, but it’s not part of the scientific method.
