I have been through it all and know what’s it about. The main thing is to stick in there. You can’t be an addict to food and never exercise if you want to live a healthy life and keep the weight off. I’ve worked out, done every diet, and all types of classes. Nothing works, besides dedication and intelligence towards the subject of losing weight. I do Tai Chi, and it’s more of a relaxation thing rather a weight loss. If your looking for weight loss try work out videos with Jillian Michaels. She’s great and knows what she’s doing!

For balance and flexibility, Tai Chi is excellent, but it burns few calories — even fewer calories than a brisk walk or a game of ping-pong. Sorry.

If you weigh 155 lbs, 30 minutes of Tai Chi will nuke a whopping 140 calories.
